This weekend is killing me. I mean, I'm glad that classes are over, but the studying and such is going to tear me a new one.
Don't study.

SO I went to karate today...I think I broke my body. When I finally got home I wanted to just lay down and not move all day...but instead I took a shower and bought a milkshake...so that wasn't a bad compromise. So anyways the moral of the story is to stretch before you bike 6 miles. Oh, never get in car accidents either...your back will hurt even after insurance stops paying for you to go to a chiropractor.

Oh yeah, but I fought at karate, I did surprisingly well off my 4 month or so hiatus...but there was one black belt who I would have been teaching a lesson were I in shape, but instead he was taking all sorts of cheap shots and getting away with it :-/ First he clawed my eye, then later he got me in the nose (face is not a target for us), but I got him back by uprooting a kick and hurting his groin  Anyways my fight stories probably bore you all so I'll stop :-/

Joe and Lars, refrain from the introductory posts. Bartender is swinging the banhammer already and has nailed a number of people for hello/goodbye/sup/how is everyone? posts. I suggest you either delete or edit your posts.

I mean, I have a three-day weekend to study, but now it's dwindling down to a bit over two because I was watching the Pistons game all day.

I do have my conversation prepared, I just need to write it.

Education final should not be difficult.

History will likely be a bitch.

Do any of you guys have Buffalo Wild Wings by your current place of residence? I love that place, and I don't really care for hot sauce food all that much.

Is he banning? Awesome.

I find I don't do appreciably better studying versus not, so I never do. I'm sure if I studied for a few hours I might get a point or two more, but why bother when I can rest for those 2 hours and do that much better because I'm not as exhausted? That's my theory anyways.

I can't say I'm a hotwing fan.

ATM 04-23-2005 04:11 PM

Bartender, if you are on, I can upload some songs with saxaphone for you. I've got some really good funk that you all would like.

I'm just hanging out, after spending the night with my girl friend. I'm so pissed though because I got a parking ticket. The rules changed on the parking meters, so I got hit with a $25.00 fee. All the college students ITT can sympathize with me, because we are all broke.

My screen name isn't BeerHotWingsRock for nothin'. :)

Yes, No problem... I understand exacly what you mean

Sup all  ECT:

I didn't know this was frowned upon, But i did try and make it a little conversation like by telling people what i had done, and also asking what they had done....
But, I agree and thanks for the advice Anti :D#

Is this like straight funk, or funk rock?

My current bank account balance is 1.03 US Dollars. I'll need that dollar in two weeks. I think it's fair to say I'm broke.

I don't know what you're talking about (a)

Bartender wasn't the one who requested saxophonists in music (I'm going by what is in the YSI thread, not any MSN chats)... it was 3rdplanet.

So who likes munky's idea for my thread? I'll start doing this when I get home from uni, but until then, I'm going to keep things as they are.

Tender requested some songs with saxaphone a few pages back, if I'm not mistaken.

/just downloaded MXican's Muse uploads

On a sidenote, last night I was watching music videos at my girl's place, because she has VH1 Classic, which shows lot's of classic rock, etc.

I saw a really weird George Harrison video, then a bizzare Judas Priest video, etc

It was really fun to watch them.
Speaking of Ulver and saxophone's, the first song off of Predition City has a saxophone melody in it for a big part of the song.
Thankee.
How did you like that Ulver song as well?
It was good. Not the best electronica song I've heard, but maybe it'll grow on me. I imagine I'd like it more in the context of the album anyway.

:-/ That sucks. I've never been clear on what Carpal tunnel syndrome is (barring something to do with repetitive strain, and that it's annoying).

Yeah I did, but it was as much so I could pass them on to 3rdplanet as for myself. His request made me realise that most of the songs I know with a saxophone I don't have with me here. So I missed sax.. I would like to hear some of this funk, though. I like what funk/funk-influenced music I've heard, but I've not much experience with it.

How about heroized? :p

I'm mostly familiar with RATM and RHCP as far as funk goes, but some other stuff thrown in more or less randomly too. I do usually like it though. Like anything else it's dependent on my mood though.

Arucard 04-23-2005 04:57 PM

These spam rules have really gone all out, eh? Well, in general disscussion, my Cousins g/f is going to dump him because she wants to go out with me. Im screwed, considering he will never talk to me again if i do, and hes the second guitarist in my band. Im honestly screwed. Ideas?

I'm not a big RHCP fan..I like George Clinton as far as 'purer' funk goes, but that's about it. I like a lot of music that seems (to me) to be funk-influenced, though.

Hopefully this doesn't limit your ability on any instruments you may play (I dunno if you play any instruments). I have a friend who has carpal tunnel, the doctor said it was mainly because he spends too much time at the computer.

Cain 04-23-2005 05:18 PM

Health Services at my school is terrible. I had mono and never even realized it right the end of the first semester: I fell deathly ill for four days and got hives three days after, and when trying to go to Health Services to check it out, they ask "Do you have an appointment?"
"No, can I get one?'
"We're not making appointments today. You'll have to wait."
I said, "ok" but inside I was like "stupid retarded system."

And so I couldn't wait long enough and said "**** it." I go on with my life thinking I had the flu, until I look in the back of my throat three whole weeks into winter break, discover cankerous growths on my tonsils, go to the doctor, and test positive for mono. I had had it, with its accompanying inflamed liver (which could injure/kill me if a blow to the stomach ruptures my spleen) for a WHOLE MONTH, and due to Health Services' incompetence I never realized it.

I love chicken parmesan.

Did anyone download the tracks I posted?

Bartender 04-23-2005 06:11 PM

I downloaded them, but I haven't listened to them yet. I'm watching a Have I Got News For You DVD :)

Here's another upload of mine though, again for a different thread initially. It's just a zip file of a few Kraftwerk songs.

Are you kiddin' me? Peja had the worst choke of all time. During Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers, it was a tie ball game with about a minute and a half and Peja airballed a wide open three from the corner.

Not a chance.
