Ohhhhhhhhhhh

Two letters this morning, well one was a parcel, WITH MY NEW CRICKET SHOES, they feel lovely on, and as i didn't buy ones with studs, im going to wear them in the gym and stuff.

And i also got a letter saying "we were pleased to receive ure As12 form, making you part of our leeds met community"

Which is nice, but i did send that form off, at least 3 weeks ago, and they only just sent me this, cant help thinking this is what is causing the delay with accommodation. Which i still not heard of.

Apparently contracts emailed threw within the next week, if i don't get that im going to ring them, i emailed again bout the info pack, no reply yet, did sent it last night though.

Surtr 07-04-2007 01:49 PM

Wicked about the cricket shoes and the letter 'bout the Leeds thing.

I'm sure your accommodation problems'll work 'emselves out just fine. :thumb:

I totally don't know what's happened to me. My dad had gotten some Diet Pepsi and so I drank it for a little while, and now I can't drink regular Pepsi. It gives me really bad headaches, all I can drink now is Diet

In other news, I've currently have 2 jobs going.

One is just busking (Which I do have hours though, I'm the only one allowed to play where I play [So I have no other buskers interfering] so long as I play from 12-5) and the other is concerts every Tuesday-Thursday night from 7-9:30.

In total I'm bringing in roughly $100 a day on Week Days and $150 on Weekends.

Mad good money, but an hour of straight playing my bagpipes works out to about the same amount of energy required for 2 normal work hours at any hard labor type work job (Actual proven fact by the way, I'm not just making that up).

On the bright side, I feel like I'm made outa' iron now, I've built up my stamina SO much in the past week or so that it's amazing. I feel great, despite the amount of work I'm doing.

Squirrel 07-04-2007 01:52 PM

Why are people paying you in dollars.

Surtr 07-04-2007 01:54 PM

Ohh Fuck off :p

jpshortstuff 07-04-2007 01:57 PM

thats not a moral tbh :-/

i also will have 2 jobs soon, and no free time

Nope, i worked them out.

I emailed them again wondering wtf is going on, and they emailed me back saying that i put Opal1 as my 2nd choice, and Carlton Hill as my prefried choice.

My reaction was "WTF" because i could of swore i put it the other way around, so i emailed the nice lady and shes sorted it out for me and the pack has now been posted to me, so hopefully that will come Friday/Saturday and the contract is due sometime in the next couple of weeks too.

2muchket! 07-04-2007 03:09 PM

We consume american culture all the time which is a good/bad thing. I bet your favourite band is american.

Squirrel 07-04-2007 03:11 PM

I bet theyre French Canadian.

I'm taking $1000 dollars spending money. Guys, working extra shifts has really payed off. Anyone want a pressie?

2muchket! 07-04-2007 03:16 PM

Still having an irrational dislike of america is like hating your younger brother cos you used to be the best everything but now he is, and also having that brother be incredibly stupid.

I hate americans not america.

And youre making a massive assumption as to why i dislike those people. Its nothing to do with us being 'second best' or wtf youre on about.
That I despise americans.
He can't help where he was born, at least he saw sense and moved here... 8 /

Plenty of americans hate """Americans""" (the war starting guns-into-the-air-firing macdonalds eating healthcare lacking flag worshipping ones) as much as we do.

Pastorius 07-05-2007 06:31 AM

I like McDonalds :(

Squirrel 07-05-2007 07:00 AM

Untitled 07-05-2007 07:03 AM

Pasta is either six years old, or a chav, or a fat bastard

since these are clearly the only people to enjoy macdonalds

Pastorius 07-05-2007 07:20 AM

I like to get stoned and go to McDonalds, is that a crime?

Well, yes, but not really.

Surtr 07-05-2007 07:21 AM

I don't mind MacDonald's cheese burgers.

I could eat about 12 of 'em..Or like I did yesterday, I ate 3 double cheeseburgers.

I weigh a total of 125lbs.

Untitled 07-05-2007 07:28 AM

I dont mind Maccy D's

Very Very rare i go though.

Surtr 07-05-2007 07:43 AM

I'd kill for some MacDonald's about now.
