Iscariot 03-02-2007 02:13 AM

amend 'kinda' to 'really' and you've got it

i want to move out and get out of debt so badly but half the time i'm in too much of a funk to get out and actively search for work and then when i finally do nothing ever comes of it which results in me falling back into my funk

Permanent Solution 03-02-2007 02:17 AM

jared your real world makes me feel bad because i get to live in my fantasy world. :(

Iscariot 03-02-2007 02:32 AM

lucky man :-*

Surtr 03-02-2007 09:09 AM

'Sup morning?

Poor sleep in hahaha.

It's 3 lmao.

Anglachel 03-02-2007 09:16 AM

No school today

Surtr 03-02-2007 09:22 AM

Saaame.

I'm talking to a chick who wants to hang out today..She wants me to go over to her place.

No one else is going..

Decent chance if I go, I'm getting something..

I'm in between going, and not :p

The girls really cool, and she's seriously fucking hot, but I think I might be to lazy to do anything

Anglachel 03-02-2007 09:26 AM

I was going to have friends over, but then my siblings were allowed to stay home.

I called my parents and whined a bit now they have to go to school after lunch.

Firecracker 03-02-2007 12:56 PM

Too lazy? Oh my

Pazz 03-02-2007 01:01 PM
He does, but as far as he's aware there is none.

My dad's really cool sometimes.

Other's he's not.

But I'm fairly sure there's no school tomorrow anyways.
Your school probably got cancelled because of the huge snow storm coming your way. It hit us last night and will probably hit you before school gets out. Right now it's so nice out. Like 2 degree weather, the snow is melting and the roads are clear, yet school's cancelled. I just drove over there to pick up a book i left in my locker and I saw 3 students, 2 of which were getting something, because I know they wouldn't go to school if they had the opportunity to stay home.

Permanent Solution 03-02-2007 01:51 PM

heh 2 degree weather sounds so cold until you're like...oh wait that's celsius.

on a side note vince is a sad panda. 5 needs to come faster

cobert 03-02-2007 02:21 PM

Its starting to get nice already out here, it was like 45 degrees this morning. No more -15 days.

Surtr 03-02-2007 02:21 PM

Rofl.

Wtf Matt?

I moved remember? lmao

Gj.

I'm thinking your storm might not make it across the Atlantic lol

Firecracker 03-02-2007 02:26 PM

It's going to be horrible on sunday, I might skip football.

Iscariot 03-02-2007 03:26 PM

i had a crazy dream last night

i was on the top floor of some fancy hotel and i was at the bar ordering a vodka on the rocks when this guy starts talking trash to me

i tell him to back off before he gets hurt and he says, "i don't much like being threatened mister" and i say "well fancy that.. neither do i"

then he acts like he's going to draw something from his hip so i throw a few punches and knock him out and then a full scale old west bar fight breaks out except five minutes into it the swat team bursts in and then everyone opens fire on everyone else

i am such an action hero

Pazz 03-02-2007 03:31 PM

It's not warm, but it's not cold either. It's perfect for this time of year. I'm looking forward to the mid teen weather, that's the best.

Eliminator 03-02-2007 03:46 PM

it was scary as **** tbh

Firecracker 03-02-2007 03:53 PM

Jared is true fight guy. =) Hope you're okay man.
I had a dream I was in a burning building the other day, got out pretty quickly though, but this building didn't really represent anywhere, more like a mixture of loads of other buildings, but not as much as I would remember, I bet it actually exists somewhere, and there's some hidden clairvoyant meaning to it.

it's the next great fire of london

wait has there ever been a great fire of london

Firecracker 03-02-2007 04:12 PM

Yes! Yes there has, and about 3 people died, because it spread so slowly, and that's what killed the plague. I think my history is correct, therefore awesome.
Maybe...hhmm, interesting. Was a grand building though, like a manour house.
Sketchy.

Iscariot 03-02-2007 04:14 PM

maybe some count belonging to a secret order of world enders is going to lock a bunch of people in his manor and set it ablaze in order to invoke the end times i would watch out

Firecracker 03-02-2007 04:23 PM

Oh god. That sounds terrifying. I must keep away from all people who have the slightest importance to any secret societies / governments.
Eek. My dreams are scary.
I have started writing them down.
So when I am old I will see a dream diary and have flashbacks and it will be cool.

Iscariot 03-02-2007 04:27 PM

haha that would be awesome

TheBigMachine 03-02-2007 05:10 PM

I dont dream. Or I do, but never remember them. I wake up and its like blank. Oh well.

Surtr 03-02-2007 07:11 PM

I rarely remember my dreams.

I've had massively fucked up ones though.

Ones where I've had news reports saying about stuff, and I'll find out in a few days that it actually happened..

Most people'd say "Yeah fuckin' right, you're just making that up" or "Holy shit, that's weird".

I think this..99.9% of what I dream never happens anywheres close to where I am, therefor I'd have no chance to stop it, and even if it was close, I'm not going to go around fucking with that shit. If it's going to happen, I'd rather not fuck with fire.

cobert 03-02-2007 07:44 PM

I had a dream once where some scantily-clad hot chick was laying on a pyschiatrist couch thing in my living room with her feet raised up on some pillows, except her feet were two little green and yellow and red birds and they keept looking at me then turning back to each other and speaking in gibberish (its sounded like unintelligible spanish), and then it was like they were chuckling and making fun of me or something.

http://peekvid.com/feature/movies/1122/The-Departed.html

Im watchin the departed online too.

Surtr 03-02-2007 07:48 PM

Holy shit.

Cob, that's fucked up :p

Eliminator 03-02-2007 07:50 PM

That is an awesome dream.

Most of mine seem really abstract with a lot of disjointed images. One time I had a dream with Yuna from Final Fantasy X in it. Shapeshifting pythons that turned into Little Debbie pastries.

Then there was one where I traveled back in time with Gary Coleman to rescue Crew Barrymore from a gang of Italian mobsters.

TheBigMachine 03-02-2007 07:54 PM

Gnarly dreams in here so far. Also, elim has a nice avatar.

Jessizzle 03-02-2007 08:04 PM

soo uuh sup kids?

TheBigMachine 03-02-2007 08:05 PM

chillin.
you

cobert 03-02-2007 08:10 PM

I have a lot of recurring dreams too.

After playing one round of my axis and allies game, Ive decided

1) I need to position the boards better on the table to they fit nicer. Simple enough.

2) I should put all nations pieces in one bag instead of keeping them seperate from the differnt game they came with.

3) I should give the nation of china (who has a nifty custom setup idea) a TON of more infantry in the start of the game. I want Japan to struggle fighting china to the point where theyre almost forced to invade the east indies, bringing the western allies into the pacific. From there its a race to capture 2 capitals and hold the great empire together.

4) Start out with germany having a lot more units, but having eastern france very well defended. I want france to be a frail nation, but still survive until 1940, at the least (or most). I found frances production to be too close to germanys early on, and germany gets a lot of their money after the fall of france (when Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria, and Finland become axis powers, along with the newly vichy french north africa and southern france). Also, after france falls apart, I need germany remaining with enough units to hold off any early UK invasions. So to solve the problem of britain loading up on transports early on, im going to limit them to a very small navy early on and...

5) ...give them a lot less money. I already have the UK not having one 3 IPC convoy activated until america enters, and having one 5 IPC convoy have the rule where if it is disrupted by the axis, america enters, guaranteeing those 5 IPC's to the british. Im thinking of disabling another convoy until america enters. I want Britain to have as little money as possible to help out France early on, but just enough where when Germany rises to power, they cant just run all over the UK. In the real war, the UK survived against all odds versus the German blitz. I need to give them the slight edge in this game.

6) Give Turkey more units. It could be the make or break neutral: If an axs power controls it, they can ship infantry directly to it from the sea ports in greece and north italy, or can open up those turkish straits into the Caucasus, Russias most valuable territory. If Russia controls it, germany has another whole front to take over.

7) Severely limit deactivated allies production. I already have the USA and India/Australia making 3 ipcs each turn (can buy one infantry), but im thinking about not allowing them to get money until the middle of 1940 sometime (saying that they are producing smaller units because of rising tensions). I dont want japan to hold of pearl harbor for 6 months later than it was historically and having the USA have a fully capable fleet waiting to counterattack from california.
Crew Barrymore
Oh man, I'm so starting a band with this name.

TheBigMachine 03-02-2007 08:12 PM

hiphop group amirite?

Cob man, join the army.

Surtr 03-02-2007 08:17 PM

Cob, I swear to god I'd be your best mate if you lived close to me.

:p

cobert 03-02-2007 08:19 PM
Oh man, I'm so starting a band with this name.
Haha, I was thinking the same thing when I read that. Nikita kr00schev.

Also, i dont really think I want to join the army. Id rather sit in my dining room with my friends playing elaborate simulations of events that happened 60 years ago by pushing plastic tanks around a cardboard map.

Oh yeah, and I forgot about a rule I made where if any amphibious assaults happen in a german held territory with a AA gun, the AA gun gets one shot into the water per ship before the landings occur. Basically, Germany can set up the atlantic wall, and since frances 3 territories have 2 with AA guns at the start of the game, Germany is set up early on to have strong defense while they focus elsewhere (if they please, that is, since you dont actually HAVE to invade russia anytime.)

TheBigMachine 03-02-2007 08:19 PM

You guys are so epic.

cobert 03-02-2007 08:21 PM

Epicness = ridiculousness, apparently, hahaa. Its crazy, theres a table covered in mapboards and the chairs have all kinds of boxes and rules on them sitting around me. This is why I said before im going to invite some friends over this week to play it with me since I cant do it by myself.

Eliminator 03-02-2007 08:23 PM

My mind is too insignificant to really handle a game like that.
