Making music is kind of pissing me off. Either I make a song thats six minutes long and is just droning arpeggios or its about a minute and a half of punx rawk. But when I combine a little of both, oh it is sweet.

No, its not that theyre boring, its just that I feel like theres waaaay too much contrast. I dont want every song to sound the same, but this is just weird, all of the songs sound like its coming from a different band, like we were just trying to make a song for different types of music.

And cause like I said, my bassist has no clue what the fu[size=2]c[/size]k hes doing.

yeah nobody in the band i'm in knows what the funnelcakes they're doing

My band this summer had a funk piece, a metal piece, an acoustic piece, a pop punk piece and we were working on a progressive piece. Yay for contrast =)

No, the contrast isnt boring, its too much of a contrast. Its like, Im not happy with anything I make because its never the middle area that I want.

actually i liked most of it a good deal. we all just have a range of influences. good musicians play all styles of music.

Maybe I just dont like any of the music I make and I think its because too much contrast. Just, I dont want to be a emo****metalcore band. Then it all goes back to nobody liking the same music as me and just not getting what weve been going for.

I just want to write good music. Maybe it is good and im just being too hard on myself, but the reason im in a band is to make music that me and the rest of the band like, not what everyone else likes.
