I don't buy books right away if I do at all. But you can always use it and sell it on Amazon for a decent return. In some cases I've even made a profit doing this.

yeah, a lot of teachers say you need the book and then usually test off their lectures anyway.

the worst is when teachers make you buy those fuckin' course packs that are just a bunch of fuckin photocopies but the copyrights mean they end up costing like 200 dollars.

had to buy one new book for $200, rented one for like $70, bought 2 used for $40 and $15
