Very nice array of tones and pitches. I'd probably only have 2 crashes if you have the medium ride.

Well actually, my rydeen will be the jazz kit and some of the cymbals(rides) will be on that. So not all of the cymbals will be set up at once!

I like my hats to have both clean and gritty tones with good sticking
I like my Chinas to bark with hit and be breathy when riding
I like my splashes to have trash and glassiness
I like to have a really dry crash and a really wet crash to compliment each other

My brother's a dick. I went through the trouble of making him supper (tacos, which were great by the way) tonight, after cleaning the house after him this morning, putting out the garbage, sweeping, and all his other "chores" my parents left for him to do.

I told him "supper's ready" and he looks at me and says "It's 5:30. I'm going to go buy supper somewhere. Mom and dad gave me money." He could have atleast told me not to make him some when he came by and looked at what I was making... Now I've got a bunch of leftover taco meat.

Just another 6 days of this... :lol:

i found out i got percussion section leader as a freshman today, over all of the other sophmores, juniors, and seniors...(i'm the only freshman percussionist in the upperclass band)...made me happy

I just went through this trunk that im taking to my dads house in Vermont from a storage place in florida. Inside was a huge head hunters shield and two spears, and this sweet *** flute that I cant figure out how to play.

The spears/knifes are cool, about the same length as a drumstick.

They might be called daggers? I dunno.

So, I just had jazz ensemble. Now, I generally suck in it anyway, but someone came in to visit who might want to come next year, a drummer of course. This girl proceeded to so utterly own me it was ridiculous. So much better then me. :(
