Does anyone play in any USTA tournaments? I'm going to a ZAT in 2 weeks.

Well we all know that golf is the real mans sport.

B 09-24-2005 09:51 PM

Tennis>Golf IMO.

DJ Ducksauce 09-24-2005 09:54 PM

I like playing miniature golf. Watching pro golf can get pretty boring. Happy Gilmore is a great movie though.

Hello Everyone.

I just got back from seeing This Day And Age and The Spill Canvas. It was a pretty good show.

I just found out that my ex girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend...

Sounds fun. I don't know those bands though.

Bye Tom. Don't kill him. Just serious injuries.

Yeah, it was a good time. This Day and Age is from around here, so it's pretty cool when they get to play here as part of a national tour. They put on a great show.

I enjoyed The Spill Canvas too, except the girl behind me kept hitting me in the back with her purse. :-/

You should have hit her with your purse...

...What doesn't anyone else have a purse?

:upset:

DJ Ducksauce 09-24-2005 10:17 PM

I prefer to call it a "murse".

B 09-24-2005 10:22 PM

Man purse? Nice.

I'm out for the night (or whatever time it is where you live). Later guys.

DJ Ducksauce 09-24-2005 10:26 PM

I got my amp fixed up today. :D

Well I'm off to bed.

Tengo que ir a la iglesia manana.

Bye.

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 10:45 PM

Sup Y'all. Man I'm so glad I'm on school holidays and nobody else is.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 10:48 PM

I'd give anything to have some time off from school, and I've only been going for three weeks... :(

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 10:51 PM

Haha, while you're at school I'll be sunbathing/swimming in my back garden with my Suicide Machines CD on relatively loud.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 10:53 PM

Not cool!

Oh well, at least weekends have been pretty good. And I get to go see Against Me! tomorrow night. It should be awesome.

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 11:05 PM

Well, you win, seeing Against Me! is probably better than 2 weeks of no school anyway.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 11:07 PM

Probably. It will be my third show in three days, but I think it will end up being the best of the three. The first two were good though.

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 11:08 PM

I barely ever go to shows because good bands rarely come here, most of the shows I go to are local, but we have some good local bands so they are usually quality shows.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 11:10 PM

Going to shows is basically all I do. I can't imagine living somewhere that didn't get many shows.

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 11:12 PM

Yeah, I love shows but the main aspect is money. If I wanna see Rise Against it's gonna cost $61.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 11:15 PM

Wow. I hardly ever pay over $15 for a show.

$61 sounds outrageous, but I'm guessing it isn't as bad as it seems. How much would you have to pay to go to a cheap local show?

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 11:17 PM

Well, I mean $61 Australian so that's like...$40US. To go to a local show it's usually less than $10.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 11:22 PM

Wow, $40 to see Rise Against is still a lot.

They played here last month, but it was only like $15. I didn't go though, because I already had tickets to another show.

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 11:23 PM

Rise Against are playing Taste Of Chaos with The Used so I guess $30 The Used $20 Rise Against $11 other bands.

Mute Print 09-24-2005 11:29 PM

Ah, I see. I guess that's not horrible for people who like most of the bands who are playing.

TakeWarning 09-24-2005 11:32 PM

And if the band is from the US they'll be cheaper because it costs them alot of money to fly off to Europe or something.
