I hadn't had either before that day... and consuming them all back-to-back-to-back over the course of one afternoon made me do a Woody Woodpecker.
Woo-hoo-hah-HAH-hah ! Hehhehehe. |
I don't even know what DNL is.
I don't even know what DNL is.
Caffinated 7-UP that was green in color as opposed to the clear, uncaffinated 7-UP. If you flip 7-UP upside-down, it's supposed to look like DNL (based on the style of the writing). |
It tasted a bit different from 7UP if memory serves me right.

Yes, it was more citrus-y and [obviously] caffinated. /// On a completely unrelated note, this article made me go haha. |
Your teachers are crazy.

So Ray, I'm going to be in Chicago tomorrow.
Three-and-a-half hour bus ride there, go to the Chicago Institute of Art for an hour and a half, and then a return trip of three-and-a-half hours again. I am not looking forward to the trip. Good night, magicbus. |

I hate how everything is turning so politcally correct, food wise. |
Seven hours travelling to see one part of Chicago for an hour and a half.
Your college fails at life. Or, planning trips to Chicago, at least.
No kidding. What pisses me off most is that we don't get any time to walk around nearby and get lunch somewhere. We have to eat on the bus. I'll starve and be grouchy, dammit... and it doesn't help that I HAVE to go to something that will undeniably suck. EDIT: did any of you have class trips in junior high / middle school / the equivalent of such institutions in Europe? 7th grade, went to Chicago, and it was awesome. 8th grade, went to DC, it was okay. The places we ate at in Chicago were horrible, though, save for Hard Rock Cafe. |
My favorite part is:

General request for advice/light-shedding;
I ordered some stuff from Amazon a few days ago. All but one item was "usually dispatched within 24 hours", the one odd one out being 1-3 days. I paid the extra for first class (i.e. next day) delivery, rather than wait 3-5 days more for it to be delivered free, now; I got confirmation that it was dispatched on the 6th, but the estimated delivery date is 12th-13th..? |
Maybe it was advertised incorrectly on the site?

We went to DC in 8th grade and it was kinda "meh". It was at least 90 degrees every day the week we were there, and we had to dress "nice" for all the places we visited, and we had to wake up early as hell every morning (like, we left the hotel at 5:30 am every day). The best parts were just fucking around in the hotel with my friends. |

Maybe it was advertised incorrectly on the site?
Well I can't see how it has anything to do with the "usually dispatched by" length; once the order has actually been dispatched, regular mail service should make the delivery estimate a day later (two days at the very, very, very, very most for first class post). |

My junior high is cheap as hell, we don't have the budget to plan a trip to DC. My school doesn't do anything like that [trips to the other side of the country]. |
Okay, so I gave a completely stupid answer. I don't know anything about that stuff, sorry :-\
I probably shouldn't have said anything to begin with.
1. Bah, that's horrible. Chi-town needs to be appreciated for more than that. :-\ 2. There is a hell of a lot to do in Chicago and it was a fun long-weekend trip... it's just that my middle school picked the worst places to eat at: Ed Debevic's (so many kids were sick from the grease, and it was our first meal after getting off the bus, so everyone felt like crap the whole day), Medieval Times (worst place ever), and some other place whose name I can't recall. 2. Yeah, DC trip was inferior to the Chicago trip. We never had to dress up or anything, though, and we were never up that early. It's just that it was so boring and blazingly hot (for late May). The cherry blossoms were blooming, though, so that was nice. |
Warning:
Do not watch this if you hate annoying songs. I got suckered into falling into a trap, and I'm spreading the "joy." As soon as you see the first two seconds of the video, you're going to realize what the song is. And no, you are not going to move your feet (subtle hint). I probably shouldn't have said anything to begin with.
Now you sound angry :( :) It's not a stupid answer though. My immediate thought was that it must be something to do with usually dispatched times, but then I realised it didn't seem like it could be. |
Oh, nah, I'm not angry over something as trivial as that.
I just can't stop, can't stop, can't stop the beat. Another subtle hint. |
