Burnt Face Man!!

I had mine out yesterday but it's so much hassle to put them back on and I was so tired by the time I got to bed that I just fell asleep on top of the duvet anyway!

Refl 07-25-2006 06:42 AM

I'm bored.

/gets a job

Patrick O))) 07-25-2006 06:48 AM

I've put my bed clothes back on when I've been drunk so many times I'm now an expert

Phill 07-25-2006 06:56 AM

/eats sandwich

Its so warm today in the office :upset:

Lord Abortion 07-25-2006 07:08 AM

BFM rules.

Not much Pat, I'm going to persuade my mum to take me to work, so I don't have to leave in 30 minutes, rather an hour later, because the bus makes me late:(

Patrick O))) 07-25-2006 07:19 AM

Buses screw me over often

I'd not been late for HMV at all, in fact I'm often over half an hour early, until last weekend I was late friday, saturday and sunday.

Friday, because the bus I always get, for whatever reason, was terminating half way that day

Saturday, because I was on a late shift, which during the week is 11:30-8 but on a saturday is 10:30-6 (I think), and I was unaware of these changes because I've never been down as a 'late shift' on a Saturday.

Sunday, because I got to the bus stop to go to Huddersfield and there wasn't a bus for another 40 minutes. I started at 10 that day, and had set off at half 7 just in case, because of sunday service. The 40 minutes would've ruined my 2 and a half our earliness, so I walked to town, just missing the bus to HMV  In the end I arrived at 10:05 or something, so I was still told off for being late

Jon 07-25-2006 07:31 AM

Hahahah Huddersfield.

I'm banned from a village outside Huddersfield :)

Phill 07-25-2006 07:31 AM

Whys that then.

Patrick O))) 07-25-2006 07:32 AM
Hahahah Huddersfield.

lololol why?

Jon 07-25-2006 07:35 AM

After the Hanoi Rocks gig I decided it would be a good idea to graffiti the village's walls, vans, windows, dustbins, ceilings, doors and drainpipes with Hanoi Rocks lyrics :(

Patrick O))) 07-25-2006 07:36 AM

Hahahaha. What village was it? We've a bunch.

o.O why were you up Huddersfield way? Just for the gig?

Jon 07-25-2006 07:39 AM

Holmfirth.

Its because my favourite band in the whole entire world were playing there, on my birthday. So I could go to a crappy club, or I could see my favourite band in the whole entire world.

I guess the 400 mile trip was justified then :)

Jon 07-25-2006 07:41 AM
http://i7.tinypic.com/20z64o4.jpg This is in my friends student house. Greatest thing ever.
That's nothing, christ.

(How deep is each row?)

Phill 07-25-2006 07:45 AM

About 4 rows of cans, But there are bottles of spirts etc knocking around on it.

Yeah, we noticed, lol.

Its the sort of place you'd go with you Mum for a cup of cream tea and a scone or something.

So we got there at like 1pm because we had no idea what it was going to be like. By that time, because I wasn't driving, I was absolutely mashed on rum. To be fair I was mashed by the time we'd got off the M25, but yeah. So we were just walking around all afternoon, went to buy some beers, and counted all the looks we got.

Glam Rock is evidently alien to the peoples of Holmfirth. lol.

GurS 07-25-2006 08:01 AM

not just the peoples of Holmfirth, sadly.

Anyway, early 70's Bowie pwned the rest of the glam scene hard.

ok, I'm starting a new segment in this thread, called THIS DAY IN ROCK.

THIS DAY IN ROCK: Forty years ago today, 1966, folk-rock was invented, when Bob Dylan appeared at the Newport Folk Festival, and, to a shocked audience, plugged in an electric guitar and bashed out "Maggie's Farm"

Jon 07-25-2006 08:19 AM

Hehe, the Damned are playing there sometime this summer. Or maybe they already played. lol.

Patrick O))) 07-25-2006 08:40 AM

Oh man, it's going to get destroyed

GurS 07-25-2006 08:40 AM

Patrick O))) 07-25-2006 08:43 AM

GurS 07-25-2006 08:47 AM
