haha. Magic or more-magic?
|
I'm going to find a switch somewhere I can put a magic/more magic sticker on.
I just tried the KFC Tower burger. Pretty good. |
its just a hash brown in a fillet or a zinger with some tomato sauce :/
|
Everything is just a something with a something. Sometimes without a second something.
|
very true
|
Gotta say I think they made up the part about the tomato sauce being tangy.
Quiet night on the internet. |
it is a little tangy
playing lots and lots of NES games |
Love the NES.
What do you guys reckon of those mini CDs, the 3"(8cm) ones? |
like minidiscs? that sony brought out for a new music revolution but then realised they shouldve gone into mp3?
|
Nah MiniDisc is different technology to CDs. The 8cm CDs are the same technology as the standard 12cm CD, just with reduced data capacity.
MiniDisc is a pretty excellent format for doing field recordings and stuff but will never be anything more than a niche market. |
ohh yea the small ones
i never understood how you could use them unless you put that black disc aound them to make them fit in a cd drive, which kind of defeated the purpose |
They'll work in any CD drive that has a hub thing to stick them around without any gadgets but yeah, they're pretty hopeless for those slot loading or tray ones, that's my main gripe with them.
That and they're only good for singles or short EPs because their maximum audio content is like 21 minutes. |
yeah they seem pretty gimmicky
|
Yeah pretty much.
I'm thinking of offering them through my business anyway and if no-one goes for it then that's okay. I've got some cool ideas for packaging them and stuff though, hopefully there'll be a bit of a niche for it, they'd be fun to make. |
i remember the only time i ever had one was when it was shoved under the lid of some drink i bought from hungry jacks or something
it had samples from some australian hip-hop dance act who was big at the time what the hell was their name they had a chinese drummer who would stand up playing and had a film clip where people were calling each other wack or something |
Haha. Gross on all counts.
|
gnight dudes and...dudes

I haven't slept on the floor of a train but I've been on the floor of those Newcastle ones, spewing excess beer down the gap in the floor between carriages. That was one of my lower moments but I tried to class it up by listening to Mingus while it happened.
|
word to that
|
I'm writing these songs on bass that are hard as to play, it's gonna be top practise.
|
cabtab
|
I have a headless bass in front of me.
The higher frets for the D and G strings (>17) are scalloped, it's quite an axe. |

Except, this is black body, and the scalloped frets. (It belongs to a friend of my brother's who has been playing bass with him for a while now, I don't know much about it). |
Radical.

[QUOTE=gaslight;17083533]Haha Evan wins.

I've never played a scalloped guitar.
I remember a funny pic from ages ago were some guy had done a home scalloping job and basically taking ice-cream scoop sized chunks out of his neck. It was like a series of gently rolling hills except gently rolling hills aren't a ruined guitar. |
The scallops here are quite deep, about half-way into the fret I think.
Still, sounds amazing, and the tuning is amazingly solid, in the 5 years I've known the guy who owns this bass, I know of 1 time he has re-tuned it, and that was replacing the strings. |
i could go some scallops right now, with chicken salt
theres a take away shop two doors down might be my lunch tommorow |
