I will be sure to take them, then I will show you how easy they were.

Originally, I was going to go to school to become a physician, so was my friend, but he is becoming a psychologist, now, and I am busy thinking of what I would like to do. I become so bored with everything that I do, but I am thinking of working in the stock market or something.

Woohoo, something that you don't have to go to school for. Just talk your way into a job and you are set. It is actually something that I am thinking of doing.

Yeah, business courses are going to be a pain in the ***, not to mention incredibly boring. My friend, Tim, is actually going to school to study business, advertising in specific, so I can just have him do it for me. :p

That is true, but I would actually go to school for a while. I would actually like to study the entire spectrum, learn what I am dealing with, etc.
That is true, but I would actually go to school for a while. I would actually like to study the entire spectrum, learn what I am dealing with, etc.
True, but in reality most of the stuff to do with finances and the stock market is common sense that can't be taught in a classroom, only learned while doing.

Agreed, but there are also higher mathematics that I would still like to know and whatnot. I will only be 22 when I finish college, so I will still be young and wild. :p

User Name 03-26-2007 12:58 PM

I have no idea what I want to do. I have no interest in anything.

BenJammin 03-26-2007 12:59 PM

I hope to still be in my [late] 20's when I finish my PhD.

irishslappop 03-26-2007 12:59 PM

im just the opposite, i have interest in everything and cant make up my mind.

True, if I stayed in school I would have been 22 when I got out. But school is for losers.

Nah. I planned my undergraduate degree perfectly, so I don't have to take anything outside of the regular school year. My MA, I'll probably go right into, and have that finished in 2 years, and then I'll probably take a year off before doing my PhD, and I'd like to get that done in 4 years.

Pluperfect_Arson 03-26-2007 01:02 PM
I have no idea what I want to do. I have no interest in anything.
Yeah, I become bored with most everything too quickly, so I figure that the stock market will be enough of a gamble to keep me interested. :p
spoken like a true dumbass.:thumb:
Actually I really like school, but I have no idea what I want to do. So I am taking some time off to figure things out. Or I might just talk my way into a high paying job, that could work out well.

thelowsoundofbass 03-26-2007 01:24 PM
Man, why do the cool schools have to cost so much?
Because you are paying for a name, not better education.

There is only a very small grain of truth in that.

How do you think those schools got their "names"? It wasn't by proving crappy education.
Because you are paying for a name, not better education.

Yeah, but I am talking about courses. Example: Berklee's Film Scoring program. Look at this course list:
http://www.berklee.edu/courses/deptlist.php?department=Film+Scoring&viewbydept=View+Courses+by+Department
Why can't a school that is actually affordable offer a film scoring program like that?

Noob.

Anyways, as much as it hurts me to say it, Justin is kind of right. You really do pay exorbitant amounts of money just for the name.

Because it costs a ton of money to pay for that program.
