Meh, you wont get banned for spamming. If you do, i'm umm, gonna do something, like, umm, really bad!

lunch998 09-10-2004 09:30 PM

Ha you shouldn't do that so much.

But anyways, does anyone like Traffic? I think Stevie Winwood is amazing, that guy played everything. Dear Mr. Fantasy is a great song also.

Yea then they'll know who they're messing with.

Woodstock 09-10-2004 09:42 PM

Give an example of a band that would be nothing without a certain member.

(New Game)

Mankind_ 09-10-2004 09:43 PM

can it be a past band?<--- nm, duh.
black sabbath-w/o ozzy

BludgeonySteve 09-10-2004 09:43 PM

Jimi Hendrix Experience. Though a Mitch Mitchell experince might not be a bad listen.

Van Halen without eddie.

Grateful dead without garcia.

Woodstock 09-10-2004 09:45 PM
Jimi Hendrix Experience. Though a Mitch Mitchell experince might not be a bad listen.
I'd give it a try. He's a spectacular snare player.

Fleetwood Mac without the Americans.

No, seriously, it was only after the former frontman left and Stevie Nicks and what's his face (can't think, it's late) joined that they became wildly popular and successful.

Spectrum 09-10-2004 09:48 PM

Rush without that guy who sings really high. It just wouldn't be the same. What's his name again?

Mankind_ 09-10-2004 09:49 PM

Geddy Lee

Woodstock 09-10-2004 09:49 PM

Do you think Pink Floyd would have died out after Barrett left and if Gilmour didnt join?

BludgeonySteve 09-10-2004 09:49 PM

Fleetwood Mac is awesome. I'll agree.

Ac/dc without Malcom. They could find somebody to solo like angus but Malcom writes most of the guitar parts.

Spectrum 09-10-2004 09:52 PM

Generalization: Any Eric Clapton project without Eric Clapton, such as Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, Eric Clapton (just kidding... or am I?)

Spectrum 09-10-2004 09:53 PM
Do you think Pink Floyd would have died out after Barrett left and if Gilmour didnt join?
It's possible. Didn't he have a mental breakdown, and every song since then (Shine On You Crazy Diamond being a prime example) was about him?

Woodstock 09-10-2004 09:55 PM
Generalization: Any Eric Clapton project without Eric Clapton, such as Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, Eric Clapton (just kidding... or am I?)
I was waiting for someone to say Clapton :thumb:

Mankind_ 09-10-2004 09:55 PM

Queen w/o Freddie Mercury
Aerosmith w/o Steven Tyler
Bon Jovi w/o Bon Jovi
The Doors w/o Jim Morrison

Woodstock 09-10-2004 09:57 PM

Do you now realize how many bands would've never been without certain members?

I now have more respect for those people.

lunch998 09-10-2004 09:57 PM

Gee how bout the Doors without Jim Morrison.

Edit: Crap I didn't read all of the lists above.

Badmoon 09-10-2004 09:58 PM
