I'm not writing all this for it do die as the last post of a page.

Oh come on. Name some.
I didn't mean every make and model, that would be crazy. I meant I've shot most rifles roughly categorized by the type of ammo they use. I own a Yugoslavian SKS rifle that fires 7.62x39mm, I've fired a Russian Mosin-Nagant that uses 7.62x54mm, an M1 Garand and other rifles that use .30-06, a British Lee-Enfield that fires .303, my grandfather owns a German Kar98k that shoots 7.92x57mm, and so on. There are some less common ammo types I've never fired like .17 or anything .50 cal and up. Thought I'd like to get my hands on something that could fire this lol

On the left .50 cal

On the right, the 20mm that the NTW-20 takes.

Blue_Moon 03-16-2010 11:42 AM

the light shud go off when the stores closed

either way, it's a genius idea for a storefront

Left Face Down 03-16-2010 11:50 AM

Blue_Moon 03-16-2010 12:00 PM

Yeah the 20mm is freakin brutal, how much do those rounds cost? The .950 JDJ in that picture is $40 lol.

I also want some A&W LFD. I wish the A&W restaurant here hadn't closed a few years ago, the root beer you could get from there was even better than what you can buy in stores.

Sad But True 03-16-2010 12:54 PM

What is root beer?

AG 03-16-2010 01:19 PM

root beer is delicious

Sad But True 03-16-2010 01:21 PM

My questions remains unanswered.

But in other news, my stomach is full of KFC :D

Blue_Moon 03-16-2010 01:36 PM
What is root beer?
"A beverage, most often a carbonated soft drink made from a combination of vanilla, cherry tree bark, licorice root, sarsaparilla root, sassafras root bark, nutmeg, anise, and molasses among other things"

The_Mop 03-16-2010 05:16 PM

Root beer tastes like dental alginate. Try once just to see, then avoid.

jaklyons 03-16-2010 05:18 PM

Blue_Moon 03-16-2010 08:39 PM

dental alginate =/= toothpaste

it's an impression material used for taking negative moulds to make casts and ****. I think different materials are used now anyways

So yeah, St. Patricks. Going out on a Rocksoc thing tonight, dressed as toki wartooth. Mainly cuz I look sorta like him anyway. Awesome.

I guess they do, cause I've had to have molds of my teeth taken at the dentist and that crap tastes nothing like root beer. Some weird taste to that crap.

P.S. - I think I want a Tele. For some reason I just can't stop looking at them as of late.

Blue_Moon 03-17-2010 09:23 AM

Dental stuff - pink when mixed, yellow when dry? Tastes slightly fruity? That's the new stuff that dentists use mtehinks, alginate's sorta older stuff. You only need to smell aliginate to known it'll taste like root beer.

Which is horrible, btw. Screw root beer.

Left Face Down 03-17-2010 10:19 AM

I would have described it more white than yellow, but yeah sounds like the stuff. Even if it is different, I still have to say don't bring out your dental nightmares on root-beer.

Seriously debating now:

Fender Standard Telecaster FSR Ash

VS.

Fender Deluxe Players Strat
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Deluxe-Players-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=511597

I need a job. :upset: Try to pull some early birthday B.S. but for the price I'm pretty much out of luck unless I come up with a good $300 of my own. Going up to Guitar-Center anyways. Need to buy strings, so I'll just pull some stuff down and play a little. See if any of it feels good or not.

The_Mop 03-17-2010 10:31 AM

Dental nightmares? :P I seriously just don't like the taste :P As far as it goes for teles v strats - if you want a slightly cheaper option the yamaha pacifica tele knockoffs are pretty ace, my old teach had one and it was awesome
