I like having long hair. It's alot more fun...plus chicks dig it.

No one cares about my new drums? :( Sad face....

Half Life 08-20-2005 01:27 AM

Haha, yeah, that styling things a bitch with my hair. It's like impossible. It's just there pretty much. I could do with a haircut though, senior pictures are comming up and me posing half naked in a loincloth with a club in one hand isn't exactly what most people picture as a, "high school graduate"

Drum Phil 08-20-2005 03:47 AM

My hair pwns you all :) Also, iPods do suck. Creative Zen all the way

Josiah 08-20-2005 03:53 AM

Chicks dig long hair? I supose that depends on where you live.

If that works for you in fiddle-sticks nebraska.. hey more power too ya! Ain't the case for So Cal... plus long hair is far to much to deal with.

Ipods suck? Yea. I'll keep that in mind.

PowerStamp 08-20-2005 06:17 AM

Long hair, we've already discussed this but I had long hair and short hair on and off through high school, and have finally settled with short again, agreeing with josiah that it's easier to clean and manage and generally is more accepted by the female gender.

Ok, time for some good times, because last night was the GREATEST night on headset ever.
So overnights, we have 3 people. 1 on headset taking orders, 2 in grill. I was headset tonight.

!DRUNKEN NUDITY!
So anyways, orders orders blah blah blah, until at 1AM, when an order comes and when they get to the window the chick flashes me. Which is ALWAYS cool, but then she looks up and looks at her friends and goes "Oh ****, I went to high school with that guy!" haha and she did, I know her very well. So that was a major highlight.

!DRUNKEN *******!
So this guy orders a #11 w/ coke (nugget meal) and at the window it's obvious he's drunk, with another beer in his right hand AND one in his lap. So he wants to add on a double cheese, so I do and he pays for it all.
Then he complains that he didn't get his McChicken (didn't order one) then laughs, and says he's missing his fries (which he had 3). He pulled them OUT OF THE BAG, and goes "there's fries and some others, but where the **** are my fries?!" (all this time my managers standing there laughing too).
Then he says he didn't get his nuggets (which I remember packing because it's all he ordered and I had to make them fresh out of the vat), so we just threw some more in a box, gave them to him and shut the window. If he'd argued one more time we were gonna call the cops.

!LOST MEXICANS!
So I'm making coffee for breakfast, and I look up and there's a Mexican in the window staring at me. CREEPY. I go over there and he holds up a map, and after a few seconds I gather they're lost, going to Liberty (from Smithville), so I point STRAIGHT DOWN THE HIGHWAY (physically and on the map) and say just follow that, and they ask for directions.

Basically, a very fun night.
Throw in watching 30 minutes of Spiderman 2 and Episode 2 of Robot Chicken on my PSP and you've got a killer night.

lpmeca 08-20-2005 06:58 AM

^^^
hahaha, lost mexican, thats great.

Ethan. 08-20-2005 07:02 AM

Wow what a night man. Haha that was so funny.

lpmeca 08-20-2005 07:07 AM

Dude, we need to have more nights like that, all of us, and judging by the flashing, I'm deffinatly going to work at McDonalds lol.

Ethan. 08-20-2005 07:41 AM

Would Pinstripes be ok for just recording in the studio with a band, not micd or anything? I don't play live anywhere either.

lpmeca 08-20-2005 07:48 AM

So your just playing in a sound proof room? Well, in that case, just go for whatever head sounds good on the drum, it doesn't matter too much then.

Drum Phil 08-20-2005 09:58 AM

iPods have a terrible battery. It only holds charge for summat like 300 charges, whereas the creative zen holds for 2000. The iPod can only play MP3, the zen plays both MP3 and WMA (which is good seein as i rip all my CD's to WMA) The zen has a much friendlier control system, the zen has pretty lights and is cheaper. Plus the zen can be used to hold data as well.

Since when was blonde metal....?

Double Bass Jim 08-20-2005 10:22 AM

Lots of the swedish metal guys are blonde.

Ill Mitch 08-20-2005 10:39 AM

Sweden is the breeding grounds for prog-metal bands. So many come out of there.

i would suggest using hydros. But dont tighten them too tightly. They have this nice one that they get out of the drum which i like and theres not too many overtones.

Brendan 08-20-2005 12:15 PM

man, that shuffle thread bb posted a while back is giving me hell

Win A Rabbit 08-20-2005 12:18 PM

well i was bored, and checking out movies i should rent today, since my dad didn't take me into work again :upset: , when i came across this: goofs. continuity errors, factual errors, everything wrong with a movie. it's hard to believe that people actually sit through a movie, noting where someone's hand is from shot to shot.

well, here's the top 3 grossing movies of this year so far, and their "goofs"

star wars http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0121766/goofs

war of the worlds http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407304/goofs

Plan B. 08-20-2005 01:19 PM

I've done it before. It's quite entertaining when you find the right movie to pick apart.

Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 01:27 PM
