Haha, nice. That would suck though.
Alexi played decently when I went, but he slammed his headstock into the stage when he tried a guitar spin.
He should just give that up. |
Apparently it's not that uncommon, either.

That's what I ment.
I was kind of dissapointed at the Slayer show... Tom was talking about how the next song they were going to be was a love song, and talked about love with the dead... and I was screaming, "NECROPHILIAC!" he slightly looked over at my direction.... but then he was all, pwnt I'm playing Dead Skin Mask. |
 I don't know if you heard it, but when Mastodon stopped playing for like a second, someone yelled, "YOU SUCK!" so loud, I know the band heard it.
Few people knew the greatness of Mastodon. :p There was a guy next to me, he said: "Are you a Bodom fan?". I said: "I don't like Power Metal, too cheesy". He just looked at me ugly and realized I was like the double of his size. After LoG played Black Label, a chick said: Those were the best five minutes of the night. I just laughed. Edit: Holy crap Butcher, I yelled Necrophiliac also, I thought that was Slayer's "love" song. |
I was bummed kind of, in my opinion. Necrophiliac > Dead Skin Mask. But that's cool that other people were thinking the same thing as me.
|
Yeah, because Dead Skin Mask was about Ed Gein, and his murders weren't really based on a love obbsession...
|
Yeah, because Dead Skin Mask was about Ed Gein, and his murders weren't really based on a love obbsession...
To my knowledge, Gein was a necrophiliac though..... |
I didn't think he was. I believe most of his acts were grave-robbings and skinnings. I believe a lot of his stuff related to Buffalo Bill from Silence Of The Lambs. I know he would make sort of clothes out of the skin then dress himself in their skin. I guess he drove across some state with a women's skin covering his entire body.
The drummer from CoB played fast, but he was boring.
LoG guitar sucks, but that bald guy from TEB played 4 notes solos and then the whammy attack, the other guitarist was way better. Butcher said: Hey, are you from MX? I said: Yes. You're Butcher, right? Butcher: Yeah Then the handshake, and no, he didn't try to lure into his house.
Yeah. The long haired TEB guitarist was pretty good, he played a nice tap solo that was cool. @ Josh. LoG guitars were horrridly mixed at my show. The gain , mids and bass were just maxxxxxxxxxxxex out. The bass guitar drowned out everything. Randy was drunk as hell and couldn't keep tone/pitch with screams. |
Did you have that idiot wearing that hockey mask with the upside down cross on it?
I don't like him, he made fun of Slayer, he's lucky he wore that mask, he would have been killed if anyone saw him after the show, even if he was part of the LoG's set. Too the people that didn't see this. Some idiot trying to be funny on stage with a mask on... he made fun of Slayer fans and the band, and LoG... he was pretty stupid. |
El Fucko, I'm pretty sure he was Randy Blythe.
He made fun of all the people in the show. |

Randy did say "steal the new CD if you don't have the money to buy it" though |
Holy ****, the show kicked *** tonight. Every band destroyed.
|
I am sick of Dead Skin Mask.

Say what? |

Even Thine Eyes Bleed... dear God.. I thought everyband there was horrible... besides Slayer. |

I didn't think their set was that bad. I guess they didn't destroy, Mastodon was ok also, blood and thunder was a killer song though. But I enjoyed every other bands set greatly. |
I missed half of Thine Eyes Bleed.
|
I missed half of Thine Eyes Bleed.
No big deal. You saw HENNNNKKAA! |
Say what?
Alot of the stuff on Seasons starts to get old after a while. |
Yeah, I agree. Skeletons of Society anybody?
I think not. Spirit In Black and Hallowed Point are my favorites off that album. |
Blood Red is probably my favourite.
I think Hallowed Point and Born Of Fire were the worst >_> |
Really?
I dig Hallowed Point, but Born of Fire sounds way too forced until the major break half way though. |
They just sounded like leftover ideas from RIB :(
|
Yeah, I agree. Skeletons of Society anybody?
yes. Love that song. |
I always thought it was the lamest on the album. There's like two riffs in it. Dead Skin Mask is weak, and I thought it was better than Skeletons.
|
I like Skeletons more the Dead Skin Mask.
I rate DSM ahead of only the two I listed above, and maybe Expendable Youth. |
I thought every Reing in Blood CD had the ending riff of Postmortem and Raining Blood in the same track, but only early impressions of the album had that glitch.
I guess my Reing in Blood CD is special. |
