Untitled 06-23-2007 06:33 AM

Lazy days are crap, unless i have work then i wish i was having one, generally i just get bored really easy.

Im going work, byes.

Jev 06-23-2007 06:50 AM

Man I crashed the year below's prom with some mates, then they got beaten up by chavs.
Eventful night.

Im gonna play FF12 all weekend.

Chilifanthatsme 06-23-2007 09:08 AM

Took some photos from the flash-flood that just happened...

There is a drain down there somewhere but it's constantly blocked. Theres mud everywhere from it coming down with the rain water off the hill up the road, going down the the village where they aren't on a bank... Gutted.

Mexican Bandito 06-23-2007 09:29 AM

2muchket! 06-23-2007 11:18 AM

The best alternative night in my area might be closing after next week. Gutted.

As soon as I read that I looked out and it was raining :D

ChodaBoy 06-23-2007 01:35 PM

How much does it cost for an eye sight exam?

Mexican Bandito 06-23-2007 01:48 PM

you can get them done for free :)

Watched Van Wilder this afternoon. My mum and dad came home 10 minutes ago with an eclair for me :upset: :upset:
still ate it though

Squirrel 06-23-2007 01:54 PM

Just go to the optician, they should be frre if youre a student, under 18, on benefits etc

2muchket! 06-23-2007 02:30 PM

w00p. Seeing Gallows and Poison The Well in September, Lamb Of God and Iced Earth in November and Maximo Park in December.

Squirrel 06-23-2007 02:35 PM

Never heard Gallows but they're on the same label as Send More Paramedics so they're chill. The other bands suck, Iced Earth border on tolerable very occasionally, only cause they had Richard Christy playing with them at one point.

Surtr 06-23-2007 03:36 PM

IE would be fucking amazing to see.

Tonight I'm checking out a band called "In-Flight Safety". Should be a decent gig too enjoy, as there'll be a good 700+ people there.

http://myspace.com/inflightsafety

Check 'em.

jpshortstuff 06-24-2007 11:29 AM

ah the old 'bird seed in the ear' trick, classic stuff.

i appear to be developing some sort of social life, i went out on Friday and Saturday, can you believe it
this sort of thing just doesn't happen to someone of my geekish nature.

2muchket! 06-24-2007 12:08 PM

I'm out on either Saturday or Friday pretty much every week. College was the best thing that happened to me social wise.

ChodaBoy 06-24-2007 12:15 PM

Opposite effect for me, I dont mind though, never been the outdoorsy type

Untitled 06-24-2007 12:23 PM

Meh i cant be arsed to go out no more, will change when im at uni though for sure.

And theres a show on BBC2 about art, and sometimes, i wonder what the fuk they are on about, and i supposed to be fairly informed on this stuff.

jpshortstuff 06-24-2007 12:54 PM
I went to the library every lunchtime and only made friends with the people in my class.
yeah same, and i don't go out with anyone i've met at college. The guys ive started going out with more recently are people i met at work. Plus they're 18+ which helps, i look like im about 12.

NP: Satch - Why

Squirrel 06-24-2007 01:11 PM

I've got countless friends at uni, im constantly out and about with people doing something somewhere but back here [home home] i kinda drifted away from my friends. I sit inside doing **** all really until one of the 3 people i like asks if i want to do something.

Untitled 06-24-2007 01:45 PM

Id be out all the time with my foundation mates but me living at home makes it awkward to get back, sometimes i crash there flats though.

Squirrel 06-24-2007 01:55 PM

We all live about 2 minutes apart at Uni so its all good.

Untitled 06-24-2007 02:31 PM

Yeah in september when i move to uni ill probably be out a lot more providing i have the cash.

Surtr 06-24-2007 04:48 PM

I can easily pass for 18+.

But I've never even drank before, and I don't really plan too.

But it's funny, having people being like "Comeee onn man, go out with us and you could buy us all some beer" and I'm like.."Errr first off I don't even hang out with you people normally, and second off I don't drink"

Dr Hooch 06-25-2007 05:20 AM

That has all the episodes, on the Declassified bit on the side it has all 13.

EDIT, ignore that, thats the behind the scenes things.

That seems to have them, dunno if they work though.

jpshortstuff 06-25-2007 08:35 AM

thanks ^^
youd think so wouldn't you?

when he told me i was just like:
"right, ok" /nods

i think it was probably disbelief
then i got home and i was like "FUCK YES!"

jpshortstuff 06-25-2007 09:03 AM

yeah i was worried about failing on stupid things, but i wasn't as nervous as i thought i'd be. i was kinda thinking i might have failed by then end of it, all the minors i got i was expecting.
i kept doing something and then thing "**** i should hvae done x/not done y"

lol my mum juts rang:
"how did it go?"
"i passed"
"you didn't..." /that voice, you know the one - 'no way' kinda tone
"nah i didn't"
"no really tell me"

obviously not much confidence there
probably cus i went driving with her yesterday and i kept speeding like hell

ChodaBoy 06-25-2007 10:14 AM

I cant even put a car into a gear.

Anyone watching Goldenballs on ITV? Ive never seen such a screwed up show, it doesnt make sense

Surtr 06-25-2007 10:14 AM

Ughh ****k.

My driving instructor is a PRICK. He's a fuckin' pompous French bastard and I'm contemplating driving his side of the car into another car someday...Ok, maybe not really..But in my head, it's a great idea.

I have to go driving with him later tonight, and I wanna' fuckin' just quit...But I already paid him the goddamn money..Which I barely had to begin with.

Is he like "what you doing? drive on the right hand side of the roaddddd"

This has really bugged me today...

Live Earth, to raise awareness about global warming.

1 - Theres enough bloody tv programs and crap going about, anyone who hasnt heard about it is frankly retarded and needs to be shot.

2 - There hosting 7 or 10, i forget, huge gigs around the world, surly the huge amounts of power that will be used to power these concerts is only going to add to the global warming, or are they harnessing Bonos ego and turning that into fuel?

ChodaBoy 06-25-2007 10:42 AM
or are they harnessing Bonos ego and turning that into fuel?
That amount would blow up all of the speaker systems and just melt the screens.

If they want lower emissions they need to reduce prices on stuff like solar panels. How many shops do you know that sell them? or anything similar

And talking about more buses on routes is annoying, its nothing to do with the amount of buses - its because they are horrible to be on

Well all the first buses around here are now run on Bio-fuel which is better, except all the fields which the crop for that is grown on are starting to take over food producing fields or something i heard.

And B+Q in bury have them, but they are pricey. Theres not enough being done to sort it though.

2muchket! 06-25-2007 11:16 AM

I'll be honest I don't give a flying **** about climate change and all the neo-hippy hug a tree bullshit that goes with it.

ChodaBoy 06-25-2007 11:32 AM

Same really, its just annoying that its rammed down our throats every day of the week, but no real solutions are given to us other than "put plastic into your recycle bin..."

2muchket! 06-25-2007 12:17 PM

Or that by me not turning off unnecessary appliances that I don't care and am single handedly killing the earth. The fact that industry pumps out more pollution in an hour than I am likely to in 10 years has **** all to do with.

But the most thing I hate is that ordinary people are made to feel bad and consequently suffer while the rich and famous galavant around the globe. If ever met bono I smack the him for being such a self righteous hypocritical cunt.

Squirrel 06-25-2007 12:18 PM

Or use public transport.

Or turn TVs off standby.

Or use a colder washing setting.

Or turn taps off when youre not using them

And lights when you leave a room.

Or switching to cleaner fuel sources.

Other than that no they give you no solutions not even any that require next to no effort no not at all.

I failed my first driving test literally 15 seconds from the end :( man i was gutted, mainly at the cost of taking it again.

Surf 06-25-2007 12:50 PM

I only passed my driving test because the examiner liked my led zeppelin t shirt. He ignored the two majors I happened to rack up.
Failed my first one though and it sucks.

I'd love a bit of global warming; hasn't stopped raining in exeter for about a fortnight now.

Jev 06-25-2007 01:04 PM

Uhh you could say all the rain is caused by it.

Squirrel 06-25-2007 01:06 PM
