I spent my last fiver on food at work, I have some change left mind.

Two linconshire sausage rolls and a 2 litre bottle of water from Morrisons.

I'm having to lend £20 off dad to go see Kirsten, lol. Untill I get payed anyways. I hope my till wasn't that much down, any mistakes I made are taken out of my wages.
When it was windy this one time, a tenner hit me and stuck on, cos of the wind like, and I was about to put it in the bin, when I saw it had the queen on.
I found £20 in Co-op before a BLS gig once. I was at the till, looked down and saw it, then put my foot over it, in case the person in front of me had dropped it and looked for it ... it was cool. Except the gig was cancelled when we got there

I'm pretty good, bacon pasta's a-comin', Fifth Element's on on Film Four tonight at 9

AG 07-24-2006 12:48 PM

I bought that on DVD the other day in the HMV sale for like £3.99.

It's all good, you found £20 and you didn't have to suffer the truly God-awful BLS.
What more could you want?

Mexican Bandito 07-24-2006 01:04 PM

I just bought a camera and a 2gb memory card for under £70 :D

Mexican Bandito 07-24-2006 01:24 PM

The Fifth Element is great :D
I didn't realise it was on.

GurS 07-24-2006 01:29 PM

Meh, they're ok. I only went cause a spare ticket came up, but his voice is pretty irritating. Lots of 'Meaow' ing.

AG: I haven't got my discount card yet, nor have I been paid yet, and the sale's pretty much over :(

Fifth Element: I really like that film. I've seen the first hour or so so many times, only seen the opera bit once  That's my favourite bit

GurS 07-24-2006 01:52 PM

Ok, guys, you may remember a while back I told ya'll about THE LIST?

Well, I'm still needing help :( so if any of you have any of the albums on the list, and wanted to send it to me over msn, YSI or something similar, I'd love you forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

Here's are links to posts where I've previoulsy posted THE LIST. These links are not for the full list, but only the albums I've got still to listen to. If anyone wants the full list, ask and I'll e-mail it to you.

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 01:58 PM

Is that the 1001 albums you must hear before you die?

If it is, HMV's next campaign is about them; they're all available for either £5, £8 or £10, and if you spend £20 or more on them you get the book "1001 albums ..." for half price.

OoooOOOOooooo!!, I hear you say

EDIT: And I must say, a whole lot of them suck. I mean, Lenny Kravitz, but no Kyuss?

GurS 07-24-2006 02:01 PM

too ****ing right ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

That is actually brilliant. I've already got the book, and am already making me way through them, but cheap cds like that will help the effort :D

In the meanwhile, if anyone wants to aid me in my effort and upload me one of those albums, I'd love them forever. And, of course, if anyone wants to do THE LIST for themselves, I've got quite a few albums on the list that I can upload.

I'm on 197.... when I started in mid January, I was on 31.

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:03 PM

Sepultura's on it twice! Good albums though. And Killing Joke

Deftones remind me of Lylat Wars

GurS 07-24-2006 02:04 PM

I never lost a game of Lylat Wars deathmatch in my life.

Fact.

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:13 PM

Did you ever get all the medals so you could be a little guy in Deathmatches?

There were one or two medals that eluded me. I think the Waterworld one and the other medal on the Hard version of the last level, only because it took so long to get to, I hardly ever played it that long

GurS 07-24-2006 02:17 PM

Nah, I never bothered

I was working me way towards it.... and then I bought Goldeneye.

'Nuff said.

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:20 PM

Goldeneye was my first game. That and ... F-Zero X

GurS 07-24-2006 02:22 PM

Mine was... Pilot Wings.

STFU It rocked. As the N64 was my first console, and thus Pilot Wings my first console game, it blew my mind. And it still rawks.

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:25 PM

I quite like shit games =]

Never got Mario Kart :( I might Ebay it when I have a bit more money

GurS 07-24-2006 02:26 PM

STUF

Mario Kart vs Diddy Kong Racing: Mario Kart = better multiplayer, DKR = better single player.

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:34 PM
STUF
What!?

tbh I don't know Pilot Wings

I might look into Diddy Kong too. And Mario 64

/sigh

What a console ...

GurS 07-24-2006 02:35 PM

yeh, it rocked.

This just in: apparantly, i can't spell STFU

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:37 PM

"STUFF! WARRARARGH!"

GurS 07-24-2006 02:40 PM

Hmm, methinks I'm going to go watch the television. later ya'll

Patrick O))) 07-24-2006 02:42 PM
