Yea, this is a sweet album, it's my first Miles Davis album, and after hearing it. I definately need more.

What's your e-mail?

robo2448 02-20-2006 07:59 PM

I downloaded the Miles Davis and I plan to listen to it soon but now I'm listening to the Electric Prunes album I got from one of the sites. It's pretty good psychedelia. Remind of the 13th Floor Elevators with their psych/garage combination. But not really anything amazing.

Look what those RIAA fags are up to now- http://www.eff.org/deeplinks/archives/004409.php?a

Sure.

Actually, I need At Folsom Prison and I need it now. I know it was uploaded before, but I missed it somehow.

Leper 02-20-2006 08:28 PM

So I hear the cheapest tickets for Pink Floyd's upcoming tour are going to be in the $300 range. Too bad they'll never come here, so I won't even have the option.:(

Ok, what you need to do is give me a reliable source that proves to me that "Pink Floyd's upcoming tour" isn't just another internet rumor.

EDIT: And of course, by reliable source I mean a phone call from Roger Waters.

Leper 02-20-2006 08:38 PM

Well I wish my source could be THAT reliable, but then again seeing as how he won't be touring with Pink Floyd, I'm sure Roger really doesn't care all that much.

But my source was on my local CR radio station. Apparently they're going to be playing at Massey Hall in Toronto. I'll try to google it.

jpj 02-20-2006 08:40 PM

David Gilmour is playing there because he's putting out a new solo album. Are you sure you heard it right?

Broken Arrow 02-20-2006 08:42 PM

It is David Gilmour, he's playing two dates there in April but they're already sold out. Those aren't the ticket prices either.

standard 02-20-2006 08:48 PM

Check his site for tour dates.. I was going to go to a Chicago show, considering he's my favorite muscian of all time, but I can't afford a ticket.. :(

Leper 02-20-2006 08:53 PM

Ok I guess the radio guy probably meant David Gilmour, which I assumed, but I thought maybe Nick Mason and Richard Wright might've toured with him anyway.

Wow the entire tour is sold out already.
Those aren't the ticket prices either.
So what were the ticket prices?

jpj 02-20-2006 08:56 PM

Richard Wright is touring with him.

ATM 02-20-2006 08:57 PM

Gilmour is touring? :-D

I need to go to that.

WelcomeToTheMachine 02-20-2006 08:58 PM

MidnightRider 02-20-2006 08:58 PM

My dad has that on iTunes. I love Jack Johnson. All of his songs are so good.

BigTrav415 02-20-2006 09:02 PM

Ugh, the RIAA stuff is such a gray area. I feel so conflicted about the whole thing.

Haha, Christopher Titus is so funny.

I just sent out my Ulver albums. Download them if you like metal, or if you like music.

NP: Ulver - Hymn 4: Wolf and Man

MidnightRider 02-20-2006 09:22 PM

Freud, I'll probably get Badmotorfinger next, they had it for cheap.

WTTM, I'd send it to you if I didn't fear for the life of my dial-up connection.
