Troublegum is superior to NANE.
No, you've seen them plenty  Leave some for the rest of us.

Potato Junkie was so good. I mean, all of the songs were (request sets are the best), but I'm especially fond of audience participation stuff. Especially when it's that cool.

superpeer 11-11-2005 06:58 PM
Me too for the first time. Anyone know if they'll be in the US upcoming?

np: lynyrd skynyrd - freebird. i haven't heard this song in so long!
I'd like to see them for the fifth time. :p

They haven't toured the US since 2001, I'm afraid. Recently they have the tendency to rip on George Bush (bit silly, but meh, at least they have been criticising America for years, albeit a lot more subtly), so that shouldn't help either.

Damn. Oh well, he'll be gone in three years. I saw Green Day and they ripped on George Bush willingly and freely.

Yeah, but you saw Greenday, minus marks for you.

Hey my sister wanted to go. I had a choice between that and Toby Keith

(he's a better guitarist than the albums show)

I've seen Green Day too, but it was kind of an incidental thing. I was there for the Wildhearts and Iggy Pop, I think.

I know, I've seen them as well. They just want to be trendy though. A lot of bands do it, gets a bit boring, really.

You both have acceptable excuses.

I may have put up with Green Day to see the wildhearts.
I'd just have a supply of rotten fruit to throw at those idiots.

I heard an advert for American Idiot today....it said it sold 10,000,000 copies...
so there's 10,000,000 musically challenged people in the world...

It's filled with catchy songs, what more do you want?

And I'm sorry Billy Joe Armstrong doesn't wear his pants as tight as Bruce. :thumb:

Pity none of the band actually wrote any of it, eh?

musical talent, lyrical ability and a non-whiney atonal american pop-punk singing voice would be nice.

There's nothing wrong with Tight pants either.
I wear spectacularly tight Jeans on occasion and Growl deeply when singing.

so stick that in your Belgian pipe and smoke it!

What? :\ What are you talking about? Of course they wrote it.

Tight pants are gayer than Elton John's curtains.

I stole it. :D

A friend I knew got it the day it came out (big Greenday fan) and burned like 12 copies of it. I got one, listened to it twice, and put it in my case. Never listened to it again. :p

On a completely unrelated topic, my return to Sputnik has come! With a review of The Pale Haunt Departure by Novembers Doom, quite possibly the greatest American metal band nowadays.

That's one of the best songs. Ever.

And the best jeans are the ones that are just normal, not too tight, and certainly not too baggy. Levi's 559 to be specific.

Definitely. I used to be into the baggy pants thing back in my nu metal days. I didn't go ridiculous with the pants size like many others, but they were quite loose. Now all I want are jeans that fit correctly.

Listening now...

EDIT: Either my media player is messing up, or the track skips a lot. Either way, I couldn't hear it well enough. I did hear a good bit of death metal in your song though.

I think most kids used to be like that a few years ago, including me :p

But one day I looked in my mirror and thought, "Wow, I look like a total schmuck."

I didn't really look in the mirror. I just became tired of constantly walking on my own pants because they were so long (I'm a short guy, so the large size made it much worse). I thought, "wow, this is ridiculous, clothes should fit".

blueyxd 11-11-2005 08:43 PM

being comfortable > being trendy

using > etc = trendy

Sometimes I hate the internet, I'd rather be doing other stuff but it's such a big distraction. I might go work for the government.

^ re torrents; free sites can have dodgy stuff, but I've had no trobules yet. Try mininova.org and isohunt.com
Otherwise, the ones that you have to sign up to are probably much more reliable, I don't know of any, but it wont be hard to find.

I like baggy jeans. Just not baggy black and full clips and straps like the freshmen metal heads at my school. I just like jeans. And really big headphones
