Sorry pal. When she signs with a record company, she has NO SAY in who the musicians are. The producer and management does. They will prob higher session players they already have on a list of their own contacts.

THat said, try and see how it goes, and see my above comment about a contract and lawyer.

hmm.. my computer bugged out the other day and I lost all my bookmarks in firefox (among a couple other things, like default settings for quite a few programs).

now, for some reason, it doesn't seem to keep me logged into this site when I close firefox....even though I have cookies enabled. is there a setting somewhere on this site that I'm missing that lets you stay logged in?

ok, heres a random chuck norris joke, u know who he is right? (walker texas ranger)
so it was christmas day, and chuck norris' wife burnt the god damn turkey, that B****, anyways, so she decides to confront him about it. "honey, i burnt the turkey", and chuck norris said "thats alright" and he walked out the door.

Infact I think alot of "Tabbers" can't read at all. Tabs are joke anyway most of these people are 14 year olds who always transcribe works in the hardest way to play mode. If you want to learn songs brush up on reading [I]notation[/I]. Tabs never have the rythmn to follow and they are never right and you'll end up playing things in a more difficult manner then nessescary.

Not to mention your really not learning anything, your just copying actions like playing simon says. Learn whats making the sounds whats making it sound the way it is and you'll be able to play things by ear since you understand music in a better way.

Eh, yeah. I don't use them 'cause they give me a headache.

But they're so incorrect that I don't see what the sheet music industry has a problem with.

They should be used to augment your ear. If you need to learn a song exactly the way it was originally played, then yes, notation is best.

I know tabs were useful for me when I started guitar, I didn't use them so much for drums, and I almost never use them for anything anymore. I think that beginners can benefit from tabs, as long as actual notation isn't completely ignored.
