Stuff 12-12-2004 02:00 PM

I have 4.

janyeno 12-12-2004 02:00 PM

anyone know the correct format for a bibliography???

i can't find the template in word/works...

bottlerocket 12-12-2004 02:05 PM

Usually, it goes like this: say your book info is: Book X by John C. Smith. Published in New York City by Publisher X in 19xy:

Smith, John C. [I]Book X[/I]. Publisher X, New York, New York. 19xy.

Make sure you either underline or italicize the book title.

Is it APA format, MLA, etc.? If you type in "APA format" or "MLA" format on Google, you'll get better results...

Go to the thread listings on the bass forum main page. Next to each thread are two numbers: posts and times viewed. Click on the post number (it should be underlined) and you can see.

*pulls up post count listings*

Fox, Luke, Paul, FUNK, Quat, Wintermute, Scorp, Left Shoe, e p, rtl, crap, spaceman, jiggy, esp, joe, rollo, and gaslight, for people I talk to on here.

I'm sure there's a lot more, but that's who's on whenever I'm on this thread, which is a lot.

What about you?

I agree. I mean, listing it in a certain way is BS. I think we should just be like:

[Book title, author]
[Website link]
[Magazine title, article title, issue number, page number]

For citations, just be like [Book title, pg. x]

etc.

It's much simpler. Do you really care who published the book I'm using, and when it was published? I sure as hell don't.

^ :upset: Frankly, I don't know where they all came from...I just post and post, trying to be as nice/helpful as possible and BANG, before you know it I'm in triple digits for rep points. It's very strange.

You need 1,000 rep points to get 4 stars, right?

Only 900 to go...

that may be so, but....still!

Claypool and his crazy lyrics.
and there is no way he wrote Mary The Ice Cube without drugs...my guess is mushrooms.

bottlerocket 12-12-2004 02:35 PM

^ Wasn't Lacquer Head an anti-drug song?

Maybe he is just that messed up without drugs...
