I've heard two songs, and I found them to be rather boring. When I heard "Post metal," I was picturing something with more atmosphere, I guess. It was kind of like listening to the droning up Meshuggah, minus the odd rythms and the voice of Jens Kidman. :shrug:

Yeah, Isis just never did it for me.

The albums I've heard had some good ideas, but the presentation killed me.

I like Isis' [i]Oceanic[/i], Route 1. I just haven't heard other entire albums from them.

In other news, I think I did rather well for "Little Shop of Horrors" since I only had two days with which to learn the guitar parts. The performance was tonight, and I think it went pretty well considering. The first act was tight, the second less so, but I don't think anyone noticed since the singers were the focus (as they should be). So I didn't need to stress. I'm also rather pleased with myself for putting it together so quickly.

On the other hand, I didn't turn in a paper that was due today. I got an extension a few days ago, but the teacher made it clear he wasn't happy about it. :-/

So I watched Titanic yesterday, thinking it would be terrible. Well, I have to say, it isn't that bad of a movie. It shouldn't have won Best Picture, but in no way is it "zomg worst movie ever".
