I love seeing bands I like live. I make an effort to see any band that I like live if they're playing near me. No two shows by any band are the same, it's always a fresh and new experience seeing a band live even if I've seen them before.

If the bands I liked actually played in Australia let alone my city I probably would see a lot more high-profile live music. Last big band I saw was RHCP in 07. Or was it 06... I forget.

Thankfully I live in a major city in North America so all kinds of bands I like are always playing shows here.

I live in the 5th largest city in the country (and def. top 10 in the continent) and we don't get half of the good shows that every other city gets. It's BS.



In other news, I just filed the nut on my girlfriend's guitar using old guitar strings, and it worked quite well. I got the action almost perfect on this POS acoustic, but I don't trust this technique enough to file it down any further. Still, I'm excited it worked and I now have a new idea for a homemade tool.

I think I was meant to do guitar repairs.

So that's probably the best show I've ever seen Pearl Jam play.

It was just incredible. I got to hear a bunch of songs I haven't seen them play live, I got to see some songs that they rarely play that I really wanted to see. I had an amazing time.
