It would be cool if it was but I somehow doubt it...although it is weird how they announce their break up on EXACTLY the same day as their album is released....weirdness.

Didn't another band do exactly the same thing in the late 80s? An American hardcore group, I think.

Kinesis announced they were going to split up after the release of their second album a few months ago. I bought it off amazon today :cool:

...I had a long nighttime drive tonight, so I put this album on and it was amazing as usual. The last song is so great.

It's above par (a C) that's all, nothing more and nothing less. In my eyes it's far from "brilliant", it's just a solid album. It's an album that you don't listen to more than once in the same day and that's the measuring stick for me. If I can listen to any given album more than once (all the way through) in the same day then something clicked.

I've been digging the maniac street preachers a ton lately, same with the pixies and dream theater. Gold Against The Soul is quite a good album.

I've been listening to Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables. Best Dead Kennedys album ever.

The only thing I've been listening to consistently (as in, apart from various single songs) is Halfway To Gone - Second Season. It's odd, because it's not sophisticated or "deep" at all, it's just a really good album that holds my attention over and over.

I was so happy when I walked into Tower Records last week to see that they probably had at least 20 different albums.
