Im putting the doritos on the top of the bread to make it crunchy, and washing it down with hardcore skim milk.

CemetaryGates9 04-23-2005 01:35 AM

Actually, I find it to taste pretty good. You ought to try it.

Illmatic 04-23-2005 01:35 AM

Other cool ones:

People tend to forget that the Suns initially drafted Steve Nash all the way back in '96, and traded him to Dallas for Martin Muursepp, Bubba Wells the draft rights to Pat Garrity and a first round draft choice in 1999 (ewww)

KJ was my boy back in the 90's...I remember when he and Kidd were in the same backcourt. God I loved that team

Before Shaq and Wade, before Shaq and Kobe, there was Shaq and Penny on the Magic. Those were some solid Magic teams--Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Horace Grant...I'd be lying if I said I didn't like 'em

For a very brief time period, Bernard King was a supernova, an unstoppable scorer who could do anything offensively. I remember watching his duel with Isiah in the '84 playoffs on ESPN Classic and being riveted. Knee injuries took him too soon.

What diehard NBA fan doesn't remember AI crossing up Jordan in his rookie year? I can play that over and over again in my head. That, and Antoine's b-e-a-yootiful turnaround jumper-and-the-foul on Jordan in the season opening C's-Bulls game are my fondest memories of that season. Not because I hate Jordan, but because it was great seeing rookies play that well on him. It showed that the NBA had a bright future

This isn't spam because I'm waxing nostalgic about moments from my past.

CemetaryGates9 04-23-2005 01:40 AM

My brother just smuggled a hugeass bag of fried chicken home from work

Illmatic 04-23-2005 01:49 AM
Those are so expensive, Ray. Are you planning on getting any?
That's an interesting way to phrase the question, madey. Of course I plan on getting some, I'm a college student with a girlfriend!

But seriously, I doubt I'm going to get any of those jerseys. Even though I want one badly.

SKoRioN 04-23-2005 06:30 AM

I was supposed to have my first guitar lesson yesterday which I've been waiting for for months but I broke my arm earlier that day.
I think it's a sign...

Arucard 04-23-2005 06:49 AM

Man, we had a mental party at mine last night.

Arucard 04-23-2005 06:56 AM

Med is a mod?
Med is a mod?
He is a Sputnik mod

Bartender 04-23-2005 07:20 AM

Edit button, joe :)

And yeah, he's a mod for Sputnik, along with Damrod, but their names appear in italics on this site. They don't yet have any powers on Sputnik, though..

Bobo - downloading the Ulver song now. Ulver are right up there on my list of bands to check out actually (Perdition City and otherwise), so this is a good thing.

How'd you break your arm?

Everyone else; hello, if there's anyone still here. And also, mmm, cold pizza.

Hello

I think he ran into a wall

and yes cold pizza rocks :thumb:

Bartender 04-23-2005 07:35 AM

Yep. I bought a really big pizza (18") yesterday, with the intention that it would last me through the weekend. And it just might.

Can anyone think of any bands/songs (preferably good ones) with saxophone in them? I've got a few so far, but more would be nice.

EDIT: I just sneezed, and now my arms hurt :(

munky_magik 04-23-2005 07:45 AM
Have you heard tetra-sync?
Yes, Yes I have. I managed to pick up Ultravisitor for £5.00 (God bless Fopp) :)
I can't get into the drums
Well they are pretty chaotic so I'm not surprised. Thanks for downloading it :)

Gah, you and your Fopp :(

I would love to find Ultravisitor at all, let alone for £5.

munky_magik 04-23-2005 07:51 AM

Yeah well, Fopp is great like that :)

How're your arms now? I'm still confused as to how you hurt them.

Also, I think I may pick another random song to upload

Substance+

Bartender 04-23-2005 08:00 AM

Don't you ever get that? You sneeze, and then your arms hurt afterwards? And not just because sneezing makes you bang your arm on a desk or something. It's like the core of my arms (the bone, or around the bone, or something) just aches for a good few minutes after 70-80% of my sneezes. Because it's not a surface pain, I can't rub it to try and make it go away quicker either. Just have to sit it out. :(.

Anyway, when you asked that, my arms were better. But then I sneezed again, so I'm sitting here in pain, again.

And I think I also may upload a random song. After yours has had it's glory, naturally.

munky_magik 04-23-2005 08:05 AM

I can't say I have ever experienced that. I may even go as far to say that my sneezing habbits are normal :p

Was CemetaryGates9 (or something to that extent) banned for the one word goodnight post in here? :fear:

Anyway, feel free to upload as I'm away out to enjoy the wonderful sunshine that has decided to grace my fair land. (It's almost 12 degrees celcius  )

Walrus Gumboot 04-23-2005 08:19 AM

Ahhhh!
It's been sunny for 3 weeks straight, and Spring break started today. Today it also started to rain. It will continue to rain for the next 10 days, and it will get sunny again when school starts. WTF!

Anyone else on spring break?
