Thanks.

Set It Straight is awesome. I downloaded My Favorite Words, because you recommended them to me, and I love it.

cbmartinez 10-04-2005 08:12 PM

Yup, it became one of my favorite CDs of all time in like two weeks.

Mute Print 10-04-2005 08:15 PM

I've been listening to quite a bit of hardcore, melodic hardcore, etc lately, and Set It Straight has been playing quite a bit.

I'm also currently in love with Marathon. I'm seeing them Saturday.

Nataroo 10-04-2005 08:25 PM

The kid has better taste than his avatar suggests.

Mute Print 10-04-2005 08:30 PM

Haha, thanks. I listen to a ton of different music. The avatar only represents a very small piece of the puzzle.

Sep 10-09-2005 02:35 AM

Chill out man.

Does anyone else think that "In The Nervous Light Of Sunday" from their EP is better than the one on As The Roots Undo?

aDecentDrummer 10-09-2005 07:27 AM

Hey i've seriously read quite a bit into this thread but it's soo long.

I'm into bands like Taking back sunday, Biffy Clyro, Senses Fail etc, but I realise that what i've been listening to, and what i've always thought to be emo...aren't actually emo at all.

I'm really interested to listen to some real emo. music. Can you guys recommend me some good emo and screamo bands in your opinion - aimend mainly at DFellon2044409 and cbmartinez. But really anybody recomends some i'm most grateful.

I've downloaded some circle takes the square, textbook traitors and van johnson, I think they're pretty good. If anyone of these are your favourites please say. If not tell me others.

Cheers, also this is a really intersting thread. Thanks a bunch

deathscreamingsheep 10-09-2005 07:36 AM

Rites of Spring are one of the original great emo bands. My personal favourite. Other users may be able to send you some of their songs (I can't at the moment as my computer is a bit buggered- I'm currently using the PC in my mates house after a jamming session).

Sep 10-09-2005 07:43 AM

Joshua Fit For Battle
Saetia
City Of Caterpillar
Indian Summer

seem the obvious ones. And Rites Of Spring of course.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-09-2005 09:13 AM

A Day In Black And White
Circle Takes The Square
Textbook Traitors
Jerome's Dream
Saetia

Wow 10-09-2005 09:37 AM
