I might go in the pit when I see Between the Buried and Me tomorrow.

If I'm feeling brave...
Hah. Don't die please :(
i dont like going into pits much anymore. i think its more fun to watch the band i paid to see than to try and punch someone. unless i want to get out some agression or other pent up emotion, i avoid the pit. I like being up front next to the stage and feel the band's energy. Thats just me though
I mean a mosh pit, not some lame hxc BS :-\ Like the kind where you dance and have a good time, not punching, just bouncing into people. Hxc has fagified moshing.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-22-2005 06:52 PM

You will be very brave to go into the pit at BTBAM I don't think I would.

well in San Antonio, even the pushing ends up turning into like 30 person fights. we have a reputation of having one of the most violent scenes

Haha, I'll try not to.

And I am also looking forward to the new SOTY album. I haven't heard anything off it yet, though.

the new SOTY stuff sounds a lot better than their last album. its a lot faster and harder, but there still arent many screams. Either way, SOTY always puts on a great live show. all those ninja kicks and flips and stuff are really entertaining

This time around, your wrong. I only did that with Coheed and Thrice, because I knew I'd be buying them anyway.

And I'm listening to them on their website now, and I really like what I hear.

Vince: I'd stick around for SOTY. They put on a good show.

Fish 09-22-2005 07:01 PM

im still looking for CoCa tickets, cant find them anywhere

But I atleast got the Live At The Lou/Bassassins DVD, which has a live show, and other stuff. Great DVD

Interesting...

It should in theory unless the venue is doing it their own way, search for the venue on google and try that way.

That happened to me too. For an UnderOath show. I was all psyched 'cause they're playing at a local club and then I checked the club website and it didn't have them on it. I was all "wtf". I'm hoping it's because it's not 'til December and they'll put it up on the site soon.

i phone where they are playing, and they said that sometimes bands put up dates before its actually official, so thats probably why.

Evening, peeps.

Just for a change, I am really, really drunk. This time, to the point that I can barely type. If anyone spots any typos, I do apologise.

Nice job so far.

Hi, everyone. I have two pages completed of my six-eight page paper. This is not good times. But I shall complete it in due course, as I feel confident in my writing abilities.

Of course, I said that last year, and I would receive anywhere from a 2.3-3.0 on my papers. Yet, on my final paper, I pulled a 3.7.

Here's to hoping I get a happy medium... like, say, a 3.3 :chug:

Can you explain this grading system to me? The only grading system I've been exposed to in the last 3 years has been (from best) 1st, 2.1, 2.2 (what I got for my degree), 3rd, basic pass, fail. Hence, I am a trifle ignorant.

DJ Ducksauce 09-22-2005 08:29 PM

Actually Jom, James already spelled *apologize wrong, but that doesn't really matter...

I was under the impression he isn't American, though, so he'd be good.
Can you explain this grading system to me?
4.0 = A
3.7 = A-
3.3 = B+
3.0 = B
2.7 = B-
2.3 = C+
2.0 = C
1.7 = D+
1.0 = D
0.0 = F
I was under the impression he isn't American, though, so he'd be good.
Sir, that would be correct. Hence, my spelling is pristine.

Time for a quick poll. I have one bottle o'beer left, and have to be up for work at 11.10 (11.20 if I make my shower very quick, or 11.25 if I don't shower at all, either of which look tempting). The time is now 3.36. Hence, do I sleep now, or drink more beer? Advice needed.

hey, you're not cory! 09-22-2005 08:46 PM

Drink up, muther ****er

Jom 09-22-2005 08:47 PM

Drink up, then smash the bottle over your head to knock yourself unconscious.

But not too hard! You need to wake up in a few hours :p
