Dead Star 06-05-2007 08:51 AM

Finished my exams ages ago.

Now onto school yay. Modern Studies ftw, we just sit and debate about things, todays topic was about religion in schools, I'm like "I'm against that, in fact Religion on the whole is a pretty bad idea."

Cue most of class arguing with me for the rest of the period lol

FVG27 06-05-2007 08:55 AM

*eeps*

I sent off for John Owen-Jones' (guy currently playing Jean Valjean in the west end atm in Les Miserables- fantastic) CD and it arrived today... with a signed picture with it! I was so excited! I had no idea that it would come with the CD *swoons*

This is my 24601 t-shirt I got from the show as well.

I just told my brother about my signed picture and he doesn't seem as excited as I am :(

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg1mwI5AvJs <- him singing "Bring Him Home"

Pastorius 06-05-2007 09:03 AM

On lighter topics, I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

FVG27 06-05-2007 09:05 AM

Yeah, the thursday's wondering around. But things have transpired that I'm working saturday, so my ma's taking Z around leeds when I'm at work :upset: try and find something to do that day :)

I'm in leeds pretty often, to and from work, and for strings and stuff. Plus I'm wanting to start busking soon =]

Are you going to go into competition with that busking guy who has like a full PA system and mics and everything, i dunno what street he is on or anything, he always seems to be there, you must know who i mean.

Patrick O))) 06-05-2007 09:42 AM

I do. I'd pwn him tbqh

I'ma find a quiet corner, probably outside the art gallery or somewhere, or there's a place up Brigate just on the other side of the Headrow that'd suit classical. Quite a lot of people go up that way too.

If you do it near the art gallery i would see you probably, as i will be there fairly often id imagine.

Ill throw penny's at you, hehe

Patrick O))) 06-05-2007 09:45 AM

:(

I'd catch them in my guitar out of spite

Untitled 06-05-2007 09:52 AM

Haha, but at least ill be giving you money, like what you want from busking.

how easy is it to get a job in city centre? I dunno if to apply for one striaght away, id only want to do Saturdays at the most though. Im in class 5 days a week and will hopefully be playing cricket on sunday.

Patrick O))) 06-05-2007 09:57 AM

Dunno tbh, I got a job outside the city. I don't imagine it would be too hard, especially if you maybe work an evening as well. But I do two evenings and the weekend, and so I'm busy all the time :( I can't remember the last time I went out any further than the pubs in my postcode. (I can actually, but such instances are few and far between.)

You can manage on just your loan if your parents can help you out. Especially if you get a student account with an overdraft. Not desireable though, and you'd have to work your balls off during holidays to get back in the positive. Maybe waitering/bar work. There's lotsa lotsa bars and stuff. You want to be applying as soon as though if you want to get one for the start of term

Refl 06-05-2007 09:58 AM

Glassjaw, 7th july Brixton Academy.

TOTAL BONER.
