Bonham#1! 11-04-2006 09:35 AM

Thats disturbing. Seriously.

mutant! 11-04-2006 09:37 AM
Eughh lost prophets. That band are possibly the largest sell outs in todays music.
Doesn't say much about the drummer, though.

Jamiroquai pwns my bwns.

Corkofski 11-04-2006 09:50 AM
Hey drum lod, how's everyone doing?

Question: what's the consensus on Lostprophets' drummer? I'm listening to Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja now. They're far from my favourite band, but I've always liked that song, and the drumming on that song is fcking tight to my ears.
did josh freese not drum on their new album?

mutant! 11-04-2006 10:08 AM

1) I don't know who Freese is.
2) I don't know.
3) I'm talking about their first two albums.

1) Drummer for APC, among other things
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Freese
2) he did
3) oh.

mutant! 11-04-2006 10:33 AM

Ah, k, APC are okay. I'm not a huuuge fan but they're good.

Jezen 11-04-2006 10:37 AM

APC are great, but not as good as Porcupine Tree.

maniac0796 11-04-2006 10:38 AM

did you get a bike BB?

Jezen 11-04-2006 10:48 AM

No I had 2 arguments instead.

Fuck.

mutant! 11-04-2006 10:52 AM

I need to get more Porcupine Tree. I have Blackest Eyes and it's great, but I need more.

Muse > all, though, tbqh. Muse and Radiohead.

Corkofski 11-04-2006 10:55 AM

Wrong!`

Bonham#1! 11-04-2006 11:16 AM

Muse is alright, but I think porcupine tree are better musicians from what I've heard.

mutant! 11-04-2006 11:19 AM

I'm not too sure about PT since I've only heard one song. But Matt Bellamy is a highly skilled guitarist (just watch any live show), and Dom Howard is a good drummer, albeit not a showy one. Chris Wolstenholme is a good bassist as well, see New Born.

Talos 11-04-2006 11:24 AM

Do I make a website in Flash or HTML?

Corkofski 11-04-2006 11:33 AM

either.

html is more standard, and is needed to make a flash site.

flash can be made and then embedded in a site....

Berk 11-04-2006 11:41 AM

I liked that.

maniac0796 11-04-2006 11:47 AM
Do I make a website in Flash or HTML?
I make mine with CSS and Xhtml
HTML is outdated, and flash is just an overkill and most websites made in flash are broken.

Talos 11-04-2006 11:51 AM

I now how to make websites im just wondering whether I should use Flash or HTML. Myabe ill use both.

maniac0796 11-04-2006 11:53 AM

Xhtml

Muse can't hold a candle up to Porcupine Tree, especially when it comes to the drummer. Gavin Harrison is easily one of the greatest drummers in the world.

Talos 11-04-2006 11:57 AM

Sorry I dunno whether people understand, I make websites for people lol so I know how to make them. What would suit a band more flash or html or something else?

mutant! 11-04-2006 12:02 PM

Bearing in mind that my entire frame of reference regarding Porcupine Tree, I think they're about equal in musical skill but the styles differ completely. Muse are a pop rock band, no question about it.

System Restore for the ghey.

Janeway 11-04-2006 12:08 PM

I'm watching cartoons from the 40's.

The music is great. =/

I have to do a project again. This time it's anything from 1920 to the present day.

The first thing that popped into my mind was jazz, but we're doing a research project in the future that can be about anything in any time period. It's more in depth, and Jazz is such a huge subject that I think it would be easier to do it for the reasearch project.

I don't know what to do.

Sunshine 11-04-2006 01:44 PM

Wow, my internet hasn't worked since Wednesday.

Hi gice ^-^

Dom is a lot better than a lot of people give him credit for.

Having said that, he's not as good as Gavin.

Futuro 11-04-2006 02:57 PM

Comparing drummers is dumb, if they both play the same thing it will sound different.

But TBH the only drummer that should go by "Dom" is Famularo. :)

trysthedrummer 11-04-2006 03:11 PM

Speaking of muse, seeing them next sat! :D

Porcupine Tree - fooking missed em

Dom is a good drummer, obviously can't play as well as Gav.

Drum Phil 11-04-2006 03:30 PM

I cant stand muse.

Panopticon 11-04-2006 03:31 PM

specs on chick phil.

Drum Phil 11-04-2006 03:32 PM
