adb 08-15-2009 03:49 AM

Jaundice 08-15-2009 03:56 AM

how many square feet is your house

Chris Is Gay 08-15-2009 04:00 AM
when I was walking to the movie theatre, there was this ultra stoned brah with some chick, out of nowhere he says to me "dude, whats with that guy by the atm?"

I say "idk", I look over and he has a bunch of bags and **** by the atm

so I go to Gamestop and 15 minutes later there's this generic preacher guy outside the theatre with some canvas with bible quotes and the commandments.

I had a half hour to burn so I started talking/arguing to him, was entertaining as hell. Half way into the convo the stoner guy comes out of nowhere and says to me (still baked as hell) "dude thats the guy (from the atm)" and points. It was. So the preacher starts asking random questions, me and my brother answer a couple for $1 each

Before I leave me and preacher talk in front of a bunch of minority teens and he says we can't trust scientists and that they're lying to us. I laughed and walked away like some badass
whenever I see someone like that, I tend to scope the area for some point where I would be in earshot of the preacher and yet able to get away quickly in case they go fucknuts

then I wait until my intuition tells me the time is right and yell "HAIL SATAN!" at the top of my lungs in a corny heroic voice then run away laughing just after I glimpse the confused look on the guy's face

adb 08-15-2009 04:03 AM
how many square feet is your house
I..don't...know

just think slightly upper middle class two story house
yell "HAIL SATAN!"
I knew my exit could have been more dramatic

goddammit

Jaundice 08-15-2009 04:10 AM

time to turn this music off and write my own musics

Morumbar 08-15-2009 04:17 AM

I'm home alone today, which makes it an ideal day to record music, but I'm supposed to go over to a friend's place this afternoon. :\

Jaundice 08-15-2009 04:32 AM

tell him to **** off so you can make some musics

adb 08-15-2009 04:34 AM

and get naked

Jaundice 08-15-2009 05:12 AM

adb getting assertive

Chris Is Gay 08-15-2009 05:19 AM

*uh huh huh huh huh*

let's get naked

Morumbar 08-15-2009 05:30 AM

Hah, done.
Now for some coffee and a breakfast..

Jaundice 08-15-2009 06:25 AM

i thought about making breakfast but i think i ate enough pizza last night to carry me over for a good while

Morumbar 08-15-2009 07:23 AM

Whoo, recording is done.

Goddamn I hate recording.
Every time you think you got that one riff just right, you hear it back and go: AAARRRGHHH!! Again...

Meatplow 08-15-2009 07:25 AM

yeah, I had a session like that last night. by the end my wrist ached too much to continue, which is probably the most frustrating part as you know you should give up but you've just gotta get it done

Morumbar 08-15-2009 07:29 AM

That sucks. It's also very frustrating when you did actually get a riff just right, but a noise out in the street ****ed up your recording.

Jaundice 08-15-2009 07:30 AM
yeah, I had a session like that last night. by the end my wrist ached too much to continue, which is probably the most frustrating part as you know you should give up but you've just gotta get it done
loool

fortunately/unfortunately i've never had to record anything because i program all my songs on the computer. getting kind of sick of that process though, want to do something live

Nepenthe 08-15-2009 07:38 AM

same situation here. i regret very much pawning off my guitar to support bad habits a year and a half ago. and my drums are in **** shape right now.

im great at the computer stuff now tho. just made a badass little track using a vocal sample from final fantasy ix haha. its ill.

Jaundice 08-15-2009 07:54 AM

i need to smoke at least two blunts today.

Morumbar 08-15-2009 07:57 AM

I only record guitars and vocals. I make the rest in Reason.

masscows 08-15-2009 07:57 AM

starting the day with coffee and falkenbach \m/ going to see district 9 later should be cool

speaking of recording, do you guys know of a good drum sampling program?

Jaundice 08-15-2009 08:03 AM

what do you mean by drum sampling?

FL Studio is choice if you want a program with drum machine apps and **** in it, easy to program beats.
