I tested a 19" AAX Metal crash at my music store. But I think it was defective or poorly made or something, because it really sounded bad. And I like the AAX sound.

I need it because I have a gig on the 13th of November and I needed something huge and strong to with stand our ending song which I smash my cymbals amazingly hard because people love it when you do that lol.

Yeahh.. Speaking of that, our band did a song on Statistics for a school project. we brought in the Cd today and everyone loved it. I loved when people were like "that's you!?! are you a professional or something?"

but yeah anyways I think the main flaw was that I crashed too much. I did it during the solo to add energy to the song, but we couldnt individually change the volumes of the crashes (I have AA), and the crash i have (thin crash) is high pitched and loud.... plus I used a A Zildj high pitched fast crash, the crashes everywhere got kinda annoying.

I have fallen in love with A custom crashes.

What a great day I had.

I read 75 pages of my book, had the best sandwich for lunch, got the job at the youth center (go me), and just got home from seeing Borat with 11 friends.

And tomorrow we're going shopping for a couple hours then I think they're all getting drunk. Or maybe we're just hanging out. Either way I'm happy.

I'm so glad I got the job, though.


And I forgot to add: my friend's treating us all to lunch tomorrow because for some reason the money gods seem to love him. He quit his last job and they thought they forgot to pay him, so they gave him another $750 cheque. A week later he buys a snowboard that's 50% off (regular $700), then a week later returns it to buy another one. They refund him $700 for this snowboard (a free $350) and the new one he buys is only $300, leaving him with $400 left in store credit that he doesn't even need, but he's going to find something to spend it on. :lol:

Sometimes he makes me jealous. In just over a week he had over $1000 given to him, for nothing.

My friend has like, a custom mongoose supergoose BMX. That thing was crazy. It had an off-roading aluminium frame, free spinning hubs, and loads of other crazy things.

I have a shogun curfew. Tis a mountain bike. Aluminium frame and whatnot. Only £200. But then i don't do anything like downhill, i just use it to get from a to c, maybe going via b. sometimes i go into the woods and do some off roading and stuff, and i do a bit of dirt jumping on it.

I never ride my bike, everywhere I need to go is like a minute walk and is a few yards up the road - chippy and newsagents. Or its miles away like a 20 minute drive because I live out in the country.

Where i live you pretty much need a bike if you can't drive. Most places are to far to walk to but not worth a drive.

Yay! I now love my kit :D

Question: what's the consensus on Lostprophets' drummer? I'm listening to Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja now. They're far from my favourite band, but I've always liked that song, and the drumming on that song is fcking tight to my ears.

Eughh lost prophets. That band are possibly the largest sell outs in todays music.

I found a really cool place to go biking. It's this huge wood in the valley on the other side of the top of my towns valley. It's a whores *** to get to, i have to climb from right down on the marsh flats where i live to the highest point par hawkesdown in the valley. ****ing spectacualr views. Then i get to bomb through this forest on the other side which is bloody amazing fun!
