OK, so you're all talking about meeting other MXers? I have my own stories (well, story) on this topic if anyone wants to hear.

I'd still happily meet a lot of people on here, provided it was at a show or something else cool like that.

I believe 'paedophile' is the correct spelling, sir.

Ahh, it's nowt interesting, I was just supposed to meet up with Lily (Poprocksandcoke) at Leeds festival on the Saturday, earlier this year. Of course, my phone battery died late on the Friday night, and all I could do was get home after the weekend and stick it on the charger, to find a number of frustrated-sounding texts and answerphone messages from our Lil, wondering where I was.

I was quite annoyed with my phone coz I know Lily loves a smoke and a drink almost as much as I do, and frankly, I could have given her expert tuition in both fields.

cbmartinez 11-16-2005 09:21 PM

I talked to Reiner on the phone. He sounds like a negro.

I doubt it.

BridgeToSolace 11-16-2005 10:35 PM

There's a guy on my buddy list named Chubby C Dawg who used to post here a LONG time ago. Like, when saosin-was-still-unknown long time ago.

I forget what his username was. I do remembert that his actuall name was a girl's name.

Oh yeah, he lives fairly close to me. That's why I mentioned it.

the-UK-ska-scene 11-17-2005 04:30 AM

Hey I was in the Victory Records HQ yesterday getting stuff to hand out, and the guy gave me like 400 Silverstein/Bayside/June samplers, and he was like "tell the Alkaline Trio kids they might like Bayside" I was like "ok....I've never heard Bayside" and he was like "WHAT?! I think you'd like them" & gave me one of their albums.....One with a guy on the front looking off a building. It's pretty good I like it. Free stuff is nice. So yeah, Jas's musings on the new band "Bayside". Tune in next week for my thoughts on Catch 22 - Dinosaur Sounds.

Did you hear about their drummer yet?

Angry Balled Fists! 11-17-2005 09:06 AM

lol IT is hilarious

chumpradio 11-17-2005 10:58 AM

My RE teacher (who is normally a real bitch) let all 10 of our class out half an hour early today, because the school has a big thing tonight, so they took our chairs.
That was pretty cool.
I've just been listening to Heatmiser. Great band.

Dammit Jas, why are you working with Victory Records? Everyone knows they are like the Sith of the pop-punk/post-hardcore music industry!

By the way, if you still have any, can you mail me one (Assuming it doesn't cost money).

Untitled 11-17-2005 11:05 AM

Ahh getting out of lesson ealr is glorious. I get out of lessons early most days.

Dead Star 11-17-2005 11:13 AM

Coming home from school, and its still frosty is very odd.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-17-2005 11:14 AM

I'm listneing to Alkaline Trio and being bored, Neighbours is on in 20 mins so that's ok :D

billiejoe84 11-17-2005 11:15 AM
Ahh getting out of lesson ealr is glorious.
This, sir, is undeniably true.

Or at least it was when I still had lessons to worry about.

Now I get out of work early instead, which is even better!

Dead Star 11-17-2005 11:17 AM

The coldness of today annoyed me.

It was absolutely freezing outside today.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-17-2005 11:23 AM

Same, nut my Mum found my gloves while i was at school so rejoice !

I did cross country today :(

billiejoe84 11-17-2005 11:28 AM

I'm in an extra-bad mood today... I'm talking to a lady who I'm really keen on on MSN, who recently turned me down on grounds that she doesn't want a man at the moment.

So imagine my surprise when this was said:

watch your back the squirrels are coming!!! says:
i just want to be in newark to be fare sorry if i am quiet
And now, a lager... says:
ah whats up?
And now, a lager... says:
why newark
watch your back the squirrels are coming!!! says:
nowt
And now, a lager... says:
why newark? seems like an odd choice
watch your back the squirrels are coming!!! says:
where my boy is
And now, a lager... says:
i see
