It was going to be released on vinyl and then the guy who was going to to front the money decided he didn't want to do it because it was too expensive.

We're going to do a live release on tape here pretty soon though.

Listening to Chronaexus now. Band is much better than I remembered them being. The production on [I]A Tempest Of Reticence[/I] is really great. Digging it so far.

That was right before I joined the band. We're going in the studio to do a split with Dodsferd here within the month.

im kinda liking Umskiptar so far, but im only on the second (actual, after intro) track. vocals suck but idk it has a good rhythm to it so far. im assuming it gets really shitty soon though.

I turned it off somewhere halfway into the album. Don't think I'll bother checking out future releases anymore.

Oh, cool. I don't think I could muster up the motivation to actively stay on the lookout for anything that might be interesting and actually listen to all of it. I tend to binge listen to shit and find out about a year's best releases the following year.

on one hand it's admittedly a pain in the ass trying to find the 5 best albums, then a surprise and a disappointment (they can crossover) but on the other it forces me to try and stay up to date with this stuff. i'm pretty lax with release dates since metal as an industry seems to be.
