yea malcolm, it's sorta bad

it starts off well but holy shit it starts to sound sloppy as fuck

at first it was sounding like a poor-man's trilaterial progression but then just sounds like ass for a couple minutes, then gets a little better again
yeah idk, it does get sloppy at parts but i can't tell if its just the recording or not. they might've been able to sort more out and make it sound smoother if they had more time. oh well.

but yeah they love neuraxis and decrepit birth. those are 2 main influences i see in this specific song. they have another one thats ulcerate-y but idk if they're ever going to end up recording that.
You don't know theory, you suck at guitar. It's not technical in any way.

Listening to The Last Felony, this is brutal and technical, you dumb son.
because you need theory to play music that sounds good.

yea Too Many Humans is badass

one of the riffs on my album sounds v similar to one of my fave riffs on it

rasputin 06-01-2011 07:31 PM
because you need theory to play music that sounds good
this is true

but you need theory to play technical brutal death metal

did you not think it through

Too Many Humans is good, but Aeon Of Suffering is a lot better due to Despised Icon worship.

Haz 06-02-2011 09:31 AM

might go on a death metal binge soon

witchxrapist 06-02-2011 09:48 AM

Do it faggot!

MalleusMaleficarum 06-02-2011 09:49 AM

u shuld start with Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh,

CATCHY DM FUUUCCKK

witchxrapist 06-02-2011 09:57 AM

The Heiling Process tbh.

Haz 06-02-2011 09:59 AM

gonna start with some Death

then maybe Autopsy and Morbid Angel
u shuld start with Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh,

CATCHY DM FUUUCCKK
eh, I tend to ignore obscure bands until I cover the bases fairly well. i'll put it on my list though

if I don't have context I tend to get bored with investigating genres further.

witchxrapist 06-02-2011 10:22 AM

Bloodbath isn't obscure at all. They're like, a "super group" that Mikael Akerfeldt and Dan Swano are in.

also Haz:

Haz 06-02-2011 10:26 AM

well, relatively obscure. is that deathcore?

listening to Death's Symbolic. I love it

TimJim 06-02-2011 10:27 AM

1) adb is sloppy as fuck so irony there
2) i shred better than adb and i cant read music an di know no theory, i just play by ear
3) song is good but yeah kinda generic, and the drummer sounds like a beast

MalleusMaleficarum 06-02-2011 11:02 AM

he wants to listen to death metal so you link him to Despised Icon? not cool bro

but seriously though Bloodbath isn't obscure and Nightmares Made Flesh is a beastly DM album. to find a straight up DM album that is quality and from the 2000s is pretty rare but this fits the bill

it's a death metal song, regardless of the one brocore riff :)

Deth 06-02-2011 08:40 PM

I know right

there are so many fantastic straight up death metal albums that come out every year, this genre is like the fountain of youth

rasputin 06-02-2011 08:44 PM
ya ya immolation i dont care
