Yeah, I haven't really had the urge to move on.
It gets too confusing with the androgeny and the crappy rehashed plot.
I ended up getting into FF Tactics Advanced the most out of all the games I played, because it had no hellishly annoying plot.
But the rabbit ladies are hot in the new ones.

Edit: Yeah, but it's entertaining to watch it carried out in animation.

Seafroggys 06-21-2006 08:51 PM

my FF days are in the past, I've moved on to good RPGs like Fallout, Deus Ex, Morrowind, the works.

Futuro 06-21-2006 08:51 PM
if I wanted a story, I'd read a book. I'm sure there are many many books out there better then any FF story.
And if I want a story I watch Requiem for a Dream. :)

Besides the beginning, cool video. Has Wackerman on drums, and vai on guitar.

Massik Kretal 06-21-2006 09:10 PM

So I got New Breed the other day. I'm gonna start it next week, but I'm a lefty playing on a righty setup....and they say some crap about territorial stuff in it so I'm gonna go through it as a normal righty.

I think this will help me tremendously. You New Breeders, do you practice it a special way?

moogoogaipan 06-21-2006 09:15 PM

^^^no special way. I just do the exercises as it says..
I don't have the territorial setup he asks for, so if I need a time keeper or something, I just substitute. Makes is hellishly easier than going out and buying 2 more hi-hats, a floor tom, and a couple extra rides.

Massik Kretal 06-21-2006 09:21 PM

Oh, well I got two hats and I can use crashes as rides, and toms yeah I'll figure something out.

Josiah 06-21-2006 09:27 PM

Yea, Just follow the book and be creative if places you may need soemthin duplicate.

Though I hope people get the point behind it. You can take the concept and run with it. Make your own systems.. your own melodies. Use Syncopation as a melody archieve, use a reading book, etc.. apply stickings to the system's, etc use melodies that involve various artifical note groupings, etc

That movie is amazing and the book is even more amazing, the author of "A Million Little Pieces" tottally ripped off Hubert Selby.

YES! Fallout 1 and 2, and Dues Ex (but not Invisible War) are GREAT games! I finished Deus Ex again last week. I took the ending where you merge with the Daedalus/Icarus/Helios A.I. and become a god.

Janeway 06-22-2006 10:57 AM

I had a dirty dream about a multiple orgasmic, gorgeous, 42 year old italian woman. =/

fishbulb 06-22-2006 11:02 AM

That's what you fantasize about?

Janeway 06-22-2006 11:05 AM

Yeah, pretty much.

That and fisting Laura Bush.

fishbulb 06-22-2006 11:06 AM

Laura bush is hot? (or hott)

Janeway 06-22-2006 11:08 AM

Absolutely.
Those cute little skirt-suits she wears just get me every time.

fishbulb 06-22-2006 11:11 AM

Holy ****, you live in Spain?

Janeway 06-22-2006 11:14 AM

Yeah.

Is that the new cool? To have your snare below your knees?

fishbulb 06-22-2006 11:22 AM

That snare is really low.

Josiah 06-22-2006 12:03 PM

...and I live on the moon.

Yes, very low. That person will have injuries resulting from playing like that.

Seafroggys 06-22-2006 12:16 PM

yeah, I've beat all the endings at Realistic difficulty.

Josiah 06-22-2006 12:21 PM

I really enjoyed playing Fallout Tactics.

The 2nd fallout was awesome too, such a great game.

crazyguy832 06-22-2006 12:24 PM
That snare is really low.
Yet I've seen lower...

:smash:

Guh... I never liked Fallout or its sequel. Deus Ex was okay, but my old compy couldn't handle it enough for me to enjoy it, and now I've got better games to paly.

:smoke:

Yeah, I see this all the time, its completely retarded, the kids at school all want to do this.

mysticalyeti 06-22-2006 12:34 PM

I still desperately try to get into Fallout from time to time... I know I really should play through it D:

Been through Deus Ex at least 10 times with various mods though >_>

Janeway 06-22-2006 12:37 PM

It makes them look like idiots. =/

I can't decide on what to listen to.
Like, Tokyo Ska Paradise's Kanayira Naku Sora is what I want, but I want the whole album to be that energetic. I just got Coltrane's Giant Steps, a Bird and Miles Davis compilation, a two disc Cannonball Adderly greatest hits album, plus two King Crimson, three Yes, and the Dragonforce discography.
I just keep downloading random bands and I can't ever focus on which one I want to listen to.

White 06-22-2006 12:39 PM

Ya, I am tihnking about trading in My Chad Smith Snare for a nice maple Wodd (with maple Hoops) snare, I don't know if it would be a good Idea though ,there is one in at the shop I just keep on forgetting to ask what kind of snare it is lol.

Icky_Mettle 06-22-2006 12:39 PM

Be safe and go with Giant Steps...

Futuro 06-22-2006 12:40 PM

King Crimson please. Get "The Power to believe". Level 5 owns me everytime I listen to that song.
