SWR410 01-03-2005 10:30 PM

he didn't have too much trouble with the neck

SWR410 01-03-2005 10:30 PM

that is slightly different, because of it's lacking a truss rod and being so short.

SWR410 01-03-2005 10:36 PM

So wait, PaulR got temporarily banned for his post marathon?

ridethelightning 01-03-2005 10:44 PM

Wow, y'know something I just noticed? I can stretch out the fingers on my fretting hand a good 1/2 inch more than the fingers on my plucking hand.

well there you have it. think about it this way, if making an instument was easy, a lot more people would have made one by now. + classical has no electrical stuff in it. no pups, no potentiometers (sp?) nothing like that. but still that is quite an accomplishment.

Crapdragoon 01-03-2005 10:57 PM

Espbassor 01-04-2005 12:13 AM

So today I heard the worst sound in the world. While taking my 4x10 cab back to school, i set it down on this semi narrow bench so I can open the door. The dog ends up coming into this room so I went to go get him into the actual house, so I could close that one door, while holding open the other so I can get out with the cab and not worry about the dog running loose in the neighborhood.

So I walk toward the dog and into the house, leaving my cab on this bench...and thats when I heard it...

..some of you probably have guessed what the sound was. That's right, it's the sound of a 4x10 cab falling speaker first onto a hard concrete floor. I nearly cried. Thankfully, it seems it wasn't damaged badly, and is playing fine.
