I guess my band is considered crossover thrash. We're going to write a couple more really fast songs with a lot of blastbeats.

cb, do you know anything about the jerseyshows.com battle of the bands? I want to know if it's even worth signing up. It's like 50 bucks.

The closest community college to hear is Oak Cliff/Cockrell Hill...

There are a couple community colleges here. RVCC and MoCoCo.

Yeah thats it. We probably won't end up doing it since we're already in one of those big battle of the bands things where the final is at the TLA. I don't think we will get past this next round though since we're on first and it's 21+, so we won't have as many people with us for support.

They found that statistic by polling people who visited the school nurses. Not many people are going to be at the nurse if they don't have an STD. Hahaha, I'm sure I'll make it.

I'm sure the show'll do fine, but then again, i've never been to spring, so i dont know how things get there.

haha, im seriously considering a road trip now...

and yea, I'm just a little nervous, I just hope I dont have too many bands, or too little, or a low turnout, or mixups. haha, just a little nervous is all. but if i pull this off, it will make my year. not to mention my bday week, haha.

just save up cash enough to pay bands playing and pay venue and any other expense you plan, and everything will be fine. low turnouts happen, and sometimes those are the funnest shows.

We've had shows with 15 people show up but the shows end up being a blast. dont worry to much or you'll stress yerself out. just go with the flow, but be prepared to toss out some cash.

Does the bass player of Sinking Ships play in another band? If so, can someone hook me up with some linkage.
