i have a couple tracks of Big Daddy Kane, but Bun B acknowledges him as one of his top 5 dead or alive so that's enough impetus to check out his entire discography. @nevertoolate: i have PE's first three albums, but they don't really do anything for me any more. i've listened pretty extensively to BDP, early Common, and 3rd Bass, but i don't really enjoy them either. i'll look into Funk Doobiest and Lords of the Underground. |

Also check out Brand Nubian, Jungle Brothers and Lord Finesse and maybe some Das EFX. I've still got so much of all this kinda **** on tape and quite a bit on itunes, just in case i need a fix |

my only guess is that its cuz everyone listens to rap for a different reason some are all about the beats and others are all about the lyrics, and of the people who prefer lyrics that's split into those who worry about content and others who worry about actual complex rhymes then there's people who are all about the flow, and some who just want songs that sound good as a whole idk |
