Truth is, a lot of the time the lecturers refuse/are so retarded at teaching and won't put examples on Blackboard ( you used that AG?), this kinda place for uploading course info + documents.

It's kinda funny considering we're in a department full of engineers and computer scientists, and they're the LEAST willing to provide course materials digitally.

Even the fu[SIZE=2]ck[/SIZE]ing language students are ahead of us with that, what with them RECORDING LECTURES and putting them on blackboard. The bastards don't even need to go into uni.

It's an absolute pisstake.

Oh man, the physicists are so on the ball when it comes to blackboard. Of my last three courses, two put up all their notes and all their slides and all their problem sheets and answers, and one, a nearly retired guy who works only on the blackboard, went round with a digital camera after every lecture, took photos of every board and uploaded those.

I will Never hesistate to recommend my department to people, even if the uni itself is run by a bunch of ****ing idiots.

Lucky. We've onlygot one guy who keeps things in order on blackboard, and even then there's things missing. Last year was ridiculous, one lecturer starting uploading notes for a different course run bysomeone else o.O

All we seem to get is feedback forms at the end of the year, and the complaints from students are always the same - assignments too clumped together and too many, teachers are crap, no-one uses blackboard enough...

Truth is they get ignored massively. I seriously hope next year when it's all optional modules, they get their act together.

Blackboard is an OK system - what really vexed me was when a lecturer wanted an online hand in [I]and[/I] a physical.

Most of my lecturers were crap, they would just read the slides with little/no elaboration and then upload the slides to BB. In the end I stopped going to lectures and just read the slides in my own time.

Blackboard saved my life, well, my degree at least.

We had one asshole of a lecturer though, he was an absolute cunt, he was so bad they've taken him out of lecturing. They got too many complains and the results from his classes were so bad.

I agree they should just deal with it, but for us at least there was a reason for this: the physical was for marking, and the digital was for a plagiarism check.

MOP: they take our questionairres pretty seriously tbh, and they let us know what they're changing based on our feedback.

Well like every subject on earth when you get into it, there is infinite details to be interested in.

My personal interest is more in tools, and campcraft/survival.

I dunno, just seems like the kind of work that people ask me to do and I avoid cause it's my idea of wasting an afternoon.
