Anyone here like Waking The Cadaver?

I think they're one of those bands out of the deathcore scene, but they're pretty cool. Vocals sound processed to me though.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:15 PM

:lol::lol:

No, dude, they seriously suck so horribly.

masscows 09-05-2007 07:19 PM

Their new songs are a HUGE step up from their demo. I heard both of those songs and laughed so hard at each of them. The vocals are still atrocious and it's way too breakdown-laden though.

Not that it's good anyway, just not awful.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:21 PM

I highly doubt it tbh. Their video brings soooo much lulz, though.

just listen to the song they put up on myspace, it's not nearly as intolerable as their demo.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:31 PM

I will sometime. I don't feel like wasting time on that that I could be spending on something better, ya know?

Np: Demigod - Embrace The Darkness

masscows 09-05-2007 07:32 PM

I totally understand, haha. I would never listen to their album willingly.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:33 PM

They have a record deal !?

Angmar 09-05-2007 08:45 PM

Been heiling Winds of Creation a lot lately, such a beastly album.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 08:47 PM

Yeah it is. I have also been listening to that alot.

Np: Deicide - Satan Spawn, The Caco-Daemon

Tyler 09-05-2007 08:48 PM

I listened to it this morning. Wish the snare wasnt so annoying.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 08:49 PM

Decap or Deicide? Both have less-than-awesome snare tone.

Angmar 09-05-2007 08:50 PM

The snare could be better, but its hardly a noteworthy flaw for me.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 08:52 PM

Yeah, that's why I said less than awesome, because it doesn't really bother me.

Tyler 09-05-2007 08:56 PM

The snare on WoC is tolerable but that doesnt mean it's not absolutely horrible. If the drums didnt carry so much of the sound I wouldn't be able to take them.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 08:57 PM

Oh, yeah.

I enjoy the drums even more knowing their drummer was like 16 at the time of recording it.

Tyler 09-05-2007 08:58 PM

15.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 08:59 PM

Eh, same difference. You get my point anyway.

Tyler 09-05-2007 09:22 PM

np: benighted - Bestial Breeding

I remember this being a lot better than it is.

Deth 09-05-2007 09:27 PM

I never really cared for Benighted. I might give them another listen some time, but it wasn't really my bag.

publicastration 09-05-2007 10:28 PM

Identisick could well become a classic Brutal Death album imo.

Tyler 09-05-2007 10:29 PM

It's definitely better than I.C.P.

Deth 09-05-2007 10:39 PM

The album and the rap group.

Slapping Penguin 09-06-2007 12:21 AM

Hahaha I love how Hbp is now lol.

I mean I turned over a new leaf when I got here but gez... he has turned over a new forest lol.

I remember my first DM experience was with you guys so when I heard Cryptopsy at first I was a little shocked and preferred the Morbid Angel songs I had got at the same time. But I got over that, that was my big change pretty much. I learned to enjoy brutality. I mean HBP through... woo wasn't that a Transformation to rival Megatron.

Well at least you like good stuff HBP haha.

I am so far disappointed with the God that Never Was. And also, is the production supposed to be that muddy. I don't mind, I was just unsure if my version was not poor quality.

Jondur 09-06-2007 01:47 AM
My first DM album was a year and a half ago. I was 13 years old.
I've been into death metal longer than you've been alive. God I'm depressed. Maybe it's time to give up this newfangled interweb malarky. It just makes me feel old to see 14 year olds talking about demos that I was trying to get at the same age!

And for the record, Arch Enemy were good while they still had Johann on Vox. It didn't matter how gayed up the Amott brothers tried to make them they still had one of THE best DM singers. Total underground necrosity on vox and Yngwie on guitars!

C.O.A. 09-06-2007 01:52 AM

how old are you jondur?

Apocalyptic Raids 09-06-2007 02:17 AM

he's in his late-twenties, i think.

C.O.A. 09-06-2007 02:28 AM

oh.

Jondur 09-06-2007 02:30 AM

Very late twenties. In fact approaching a significant age milestone.

All this talk of Cadaver reminds me, did anyone pick up the reunion album under the name Cadaver INC? Pretty nasty stuff with very harsh production.

C.O.A. 09-06-2007 02:39 AM

the big 30?

Jondur 09-06-2007 03:39 AM

Nah I've got at least 60 days before I reach 30. At least I get to celebrate in style by watching Heaven and Hell.

C.O.A. 09-06-2007 03:41 AM

\m/

i saw them with megadeth a while back. kick *** show.
Does anyone think the new Akercocke is extremly, extremly good?
It's not as good as WTGU, DTGU but it's still excellent. Am currently wearing my Antichrist shirt I purchased when I saw them in May.

LifeInABox 09-06-2007 01:14 PM

I only have Antichrist and Chronronzon.

Antichrist >>>>>>>>>> Chronronzon
