If I cared enough, I could probably make something out of it. I was just messing around, though, so I didn't really take note of what I was playing.
Well as long as fun was had.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 01:53 PM

It's true... and fun was had.

I find those 5-10 minute jams more fun than sitting around for an hour and messing around. I usually don't come up with anything special in that hour, but in those 5 or 10 minutes, I tend to come up with more stuff that I like. It's kind of weird, but works for me. :D

kilian 10-12-2006 02:01 PM

I rarlely touch my bass when I'm home. But sometimes I grab it and then I get nicest lines out of it when I'm jamming. Right now, I would like to. But it's at a friends house..

thelowsoundofbass 10-12-2006 02:24 PM

I just came up with a nice tapping riff, too bad I can't come up with any thing further.

So I didn't know King Crimson covered Gustav Holst.

This news pleases me.

'The Devil's Triangle' from In The Wake Of Poseidon is basically Mars, from the Planet's suite. One of my all-time favourite pieces of classical music.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 03:35 PM

There's a possibility of snow here in Toronto tonight.

One Groovin Clown 10-12-2006 03:42 PM

We'll this sucks! My skytrain is shutdown do to a "medical emergency" at one of the stations.
Apparently it's a jumper.
Garrr!
Now i'm stuck here at school

The Brad 10-12-2006 03:48 PM

You should... make a copy of that crappy third eye blind song and try and get him to listen to it. lul

Efrim 10-12-2006 04:58 PM

Hello.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 05:15 PM

Snow has made its first appearance. :D

The way I see it, once it's cold, it might as well be winter and snowy. I don't really like the cold, but I do love the snow... and I don't really mind the cold that much either.

PietroCrespi 10-12-2006 05:17 PM

It's too cold around here today.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 05:24 PM

Oh crap... I think I'm going to miss The Office tonight. :upset:

All I've eaten today is a bagel, which took an hour to eat because my throat has been killing me because I'm sick. I can't wait for dinner, which hopefully won't be as difficult to eat... my throat seems to feel a bit better, so I can only hope I can eat.

One Groovin Clown 10-12-2006 05:33 PM

I finally got home, the bus company started making extra rounds with their buses. I was questioning everybody on how to get back home :smash:

How about some prime rib? A la blender style?
I bet that would be tasty!

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 05:43 PM

Had prime rib for Thanksgiving dinner, it was damn good.

I wonder what a blended piece of meat would be like... it's too weird!

Efrim 10-12-2006 05:56 PM

Yeehaw! I just hit 1000 albums. That was exciting.

DaveSavesTheDay 10-12-2006 06:36 PM

I'm going to die. I have $10 left and I don't get paid for another week.

On top of that, I'm only going to get $260ish on my next check.
Right off the bat, $60 is for my bus pass, $60 for my cell phone bill and $40 for my contacts.

That's what, $100 left? Fuck, I need to save, goddamnit.

Edit: Where the hell did my avatar go!?

Rollo47 10-12-2006 07:26 PM

I made awesome honey roasted peanuts last night. They're so tasty.

Spaceman Spiff 10-12-2006 07:31 PM

I made it back in time to see The Office! :D

It starts in less than 10 minutes.

User Name 10-12-2006 07:35 PM
Do you want to study finance?
I have no idea what one would do as a financer (sp?). I was thinking of accountant, maybe, or economist, but finance has always been the gray area I've never known much about.

Wow, I didn't realize the band was so old....

But yeah, she's smokin, and the song is sweet.

PietroCrespi 10-12-2006 07:58 PM

So why are Backline amps so much cheaper than GK?

I'm still not too sure about all the people Jim is working with, but that was classic when he pulled the calculator in the jello trick in the first episode.

I guess it is kind of good that having Jim move is introducing more characters, because some of the stuff happening at that branch is pretty funny.

I don't understand the new boss. The new Pam is alright though.

A couple of my favorite things on the show are Creed, just because he's fucking hilarious, and how much Michael hates Toby, because that always comes out and always makes me laugh.

Creed owns. Did you know he plays himself? I'd never heard of him before.

I love all of the minor characters. Brian and Kelly are especially funny.

Stanley and Kevin are pretty funny too... and we can't forget Dwight, because Dwight is amazing.
