Lord Abortion 05-25-2006 02:22 AM

Do it, do it now.
it pisses all over LOTR, for me.

Riva 05-25-2006 02:27 AM

Well, I just hired out Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Salzburg Symphonies and John Butler Trio - Live at St. Gallen. And Margaret Weiss' Mistress Of Dragons which is a Dragonlance book.

Lord Abortion 05-25-2006 02:30 AM

Why my local library don't have music and good books in stock is beyond me...

oh, wait, it's because they're crap, and in a shithole full of wankers.

Riva 05-25-2006 02:31 AM

My city has 8 libraries linked in a network. It's awesome.

Yeah mine has about 6 or so linked in a newtork. You can search over the internet and get them bought to the one closest to you.

I would never follow the Daily upload and give a proper listen to all these albums :-\
I need to get D&W's touched by the crimson king...

/Big Dark Tower fanboy
Speaking of that, I saw the non special edition version of it in stores. But I realized that it was the orignal album cover...inside of the blackish boc cover. So, I had probably seen it before, but didn't know it was the one with the orignal cd case...

I need both D&W albums. I'm a big fan and I have yet to buy one of the albums...

Whilke I disagree with that statement immensley, they are rather good book.

The CD is rather awesome as well. You wouldn't understand alot of the lyrics without reading the books.

BTW, Sieze the Day is on of the few songs on that album that isn't about the Dark Tower, it's actually LOTR.:)

Shattered_Future 05-25-2006 01:07 PM
Yeah, and Limb Music records are never shy on bonus stuff either.
That they aren't. Which makes me want to buy the stuff more...I love bonus ****.

MetalOz 05-25-2006 01:33 PM

Stoic, I'm interesed to know what you think of the Crimson Glory album

comptonassrobert, it was funny but not that funny

Stoic 05-25-2006 03:58 PM

Alright, just give me some time ;)

I haven't heard their other album, actually.

Shattered_Future 05-25-2006 05:06 PM

I dislike Demons And Wizards, even though I realize I really should like them...something gets lost in the process of combining the two.

Stormrider 05-25-2006 07:04 PM

I love D&W.

I like what I've heard from both albums. Yet, as I said above, I don't own one.

Deth 05-25-2006 07:30 PM

I own both :).

The first is my favorite, but when the second has it's moments, they are incredible.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-25-2006 07:59 PM

I didn't like the second one at all. The first was rather good though.

Stormrider 05-25-2006 08:07 PM

Meh, I rather like the effects on Hansi's voice on songs like Terror Train and stuff. And Touched by the Crimson King has the song Crimson King. Which is definitely a + for me. I <3 that song so much.

:( it was a spontanious act that i put together when niobium posted some voice recordings in some thread, i just put all his sounds together and sped his voice up for the solos and things like that

It's amazing watching his hairline slowly receding from photo to photo. You should have put it in order. :p

"The complete path to baldness feat. Rob Halford"

Lord Abortion 05-26-2006 05:47 PM

Yeah, I'm going to have long hair until I feel myself getting bald, then shave it all off and grow a huge beard.

Stormrider 05-26-2006 06:07 PM

I'm not near cutting my hair.

The problem is that you always feel thet they're shorter then they are.

Deth 05-26-2006 07:11 PM

I'm growing my hair now. It's just long enough to have my parents complain about it. They don't really care but they like to complain.

I have to say that Halford pulls off the baldness better than any other white man.

Slapping Penguin 05-26-2006 07:29 PM

Yeah I have being grown mine for a little while now, its going okay.

Shattered_Future 05-26-2006 09:30 PM

Mine doesn't grow down, it grows out. Which results in me having the white man's fro.

Tyler 05-26-2006 09:32 PM

This is now the official MX Haircare and Hygiene thread, I gather?

If your hair is anything like mine it will start growing down eventually.
This is now the official MX Haircare and Hygiene thread, I gather?
Hygiene? We're ****ing METAL, man. Ain't no pussy-assed hygiene going on around here.

Thing is, I've been growing it for...a year or so. I have gotten haircuts in that time period though...

Synthetical 05-26-2006 10:51 PM

I'm growing out my hair now, it kinda poofs out and grows long so people say I have a mop on my head, but at least it gives me something to throw around at concerts and a way to slip an earbud in the middle of class into my ear without anyone noticing (and work)

NP: Stratovarius - Hunting High and Low

shadow_stalker 05-27-2006 03:19 AM

My hair goes about 1/3 down my back, im thinking about growing it to the point where i can practically sit on it

imagine how long that would take to dry, even with a hairdryer it would take hours :p

Riva 05-27-2006 03:55 AM

I've got the kind of hair that becomes puffy as soon as it dries. It's quite thick and it curves out at the edges, so that at shoulder length it looks less than metal. But ah well. I like it.

shadow_stalker 05-27-2006 05:38 AM

i have hair like that, bt as it got longer it kind of went abit straighter, and i got mine undershaved because its so damn thick

Riva 05-27-2006 05:45 AM

Haha, mushroom cut. 1989 called, they want their hairstyle back, Titch.

Lord Abortion 05-27-2006 05:55 AM

Haw Haw Haw.

"Ownz0rz'd." as they say.

my hair is a little past my shoulders now. I need to get it trimmed because of the split ends that have appeared:(

Riva 05-27-2006 06:01 AM

Yah, my girlfriend trimmed mine just recently because of the split ends.

http://i4.tinypic.com/10sas6x.jpg

After the trim...

Stormrider 05-27-2006 06:26 AM

I havn't gotten a haircut in a while. Even just to trim the split ends...

So I think my hair has plenty of split ends right now :p

shadow_stalker 05-27-2006 12:37 PM
Haha, mushroom cut. 1989 called, they want their hairstyle back, Titch.
