I havnt heard him sing that. Where did you get it?
I found it on Winmx, then quickly deleted it. |
Ok, I wont bother with it then.
So has anyone heard about Iommi's new solo album? Its got Glenn Hughes on vocals and bass like in the 96 DEP sessions. It looks to be quite good, geezer himself has recommended the album very highly. I hope its better than his last solo album. |
They'll be meh at Download, it'll be like watching the Last Supper DVD.
Except without the funny interviews. |
^True.
Rumour has it that Iommi and GZR are going to tour together in the summer, hopefully they'll come to England. |
GZR = Geezer?
****, I haven't been here in a while. |
Yep.
|
That would be great. Except I dont really like GZR's singer.
|
Never heard either of their solo stuff, but if hey play newcastle i will go.
|
I ordered Ohmwork last night, along with DJ Shadows ''Entroducing...'' and The Scorpions ''Classic Bites'', they should be here by Friday.
|
Okay cool tell us what you think when you get it.
|
Tomorrow hopefully.
I love Black Sabbath, theyre one of those bands like zeppelin that will never die....hell my dad got me listening to it and ill listen to it till the day i die. Sweet leaf and paranoid are my fav. songs. LONG LIVE SABBATH!!!!
yeah, i dont know what the big deal about the song ''paranoid'' is, i guess i just dont like it as much as their other songs sweet leaf on the other hand kicks ***! :thumb: |
Brum will like you lol. But yes Sweet Leaf is an awesome song. Incredibly simple to play but still awesome.

sweet leaf on the other hand kicks ***! :thumb:
 Due to currently being obsessed with Dio, I prefer his Sabbath work over the Ozzy years. Even Dio's version of Paranoid is good. Ohmwork didn't come today :( It should be here tomorrow, if not then I'm going to be upset. |
Anyone heard of crazy train?
|
It isn't a Black Sabbath song, it is an ozzy solo song.
But it does rock my spongebob socks! |
Anyone heard of crazy train?
please, get some basic Sabbath knowledge - THEY DID NOT DO CRAZY TRAIN, THAT WAS ON OZZY OSBOURNE'S FIRST SOLO ALBUM!:thumb: nothing wrong with the song, in fact i think it's great, but certain people in this thread *cough*Lord Brum*cough* don't like discussions on Ozzy's solo work. |
Pff at least at had the curtosy and tact to say it nicley, but that is the basic point.
There is an ozzy solo thread knocking about somewhere, if you use the search function you will find it. |
Haha i was joking around with you guys...i know its an Ozzy solo song
I have the Ozzman Cometh cd :) |
That cd is awesome.
|
Meh, I've gone off Ozzy's solo work at the moment.

NP: sweet leaf EDIT: found the Ozzy thread: here it is :thumb: hasn't been posted in by anyone for about 7 weeks though. |
Yeah i think last post i made in it was when i bought his box set.
On a different note i've been listening to once by nightwish all morning, tis pretty good. Also my lost horizon cd should finally be coming soon :thumb: |

Its really good. |
I'm into pretty much everything Dio has done at the moment, from his early days in Ronnie and the Red Caps/Elves/Ronnie and the Prophets, to his days in Elf and Rainbow, Black Sabbath then finally his solo career.
Rainbow - Rising is one of my fav. albums at the moment, its brilliant. I can't find a fault with it at all. Ohmwork came today :) I've heard about half of it... ...its pretty good. Rather than use the bog standard intro-verse-chrous-solo-verse-outro structure, the music is heavily riff based, and there are little to no solos. I'm not so keen on the vocals at the moment, but they'll probably grow on me eventually. |
Got Heaven and Hell this week - I'd only got it on vinyl and tape - and it reminded me of how good it is. And of how much I prefer Dio's voice.
|
I like Ozzy waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
|

I have it on vinyl and cd...although my cd version is a vinyl rip so I get all the crackles n pops etc...but its all good. |

But I think the voice will never grow on me. Iommi's new album should be good though. |
