Oh well, he's missing out.
Yup.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-16-2005 02:17 PM

Haha, imagine the convo:

Hey Mum ben cant go to see ALk3 so can we dirve to Manchester to pick up this guy called butler on the internet and take him ?

Kif 11-16-2005 02:22 PM

I've had an epiphany today. Instead of spending money on albums and DVD's, I'm going to get Final Fantasy 1-10. I only ever completed 7.

Kif 11-16-2005 02:25 PM

Butler could make his own way there, since I had to trek all the way to Manchester to see Pennywise.

Mute Print 11-16-2005 02:28 PM

Hello everyone. How's it going?

I just thought I'd stop in and say hello before I get ready to see Alexisonfire and A Wilhelm Scream. :D

Angry Balled Fists! 11-16-2005 02:29 PM

I've only ever beaten 10, and I basically beat 10-2 but never fully finished it. I looked back and had over 50 hours of play time on that game. Right now I'm working on 7 and 9, and I figure once I get done with those I'll go get 8 if I can find it. I have no desire to play any before 7.

Sure, I'll most likely wear my sky blue Fall Out Boy shirt because

A) It stands out against the hundreds of black Atticus/My Chemical Romance shirts. They're called clichés for a reason, people
B) It says in giant black letter "YOU ARE SO SCENE" with a guy with "emo" hair, and I always get funny looks for it :D

10-2 is more minigame and sidequest stuff from what I've heard. Apparently you can unlock a second ending by doing everything. 7 will always be the height of Final Fantasy though. It's just quite simply one of the best games ever made, and the story is fantastic and quite emotional too.

I'm not sure, the train from Lincoln to Nottingham is like £5, I'm not sure how far away Manchester is though. Google it?

I didn't do everything exactly. I never got a gold chocabo, or did Ruby or Emerald WEAPON, or Knights Of The Round.

10-2 was a pretty bad game. I have no desire to ever go back and finish it. So far from having only played 7,9, and 10 I think 10 is the best. But it's probably because went through and finished it all ready whereas 7 needs time for the story to develop. Or maybe it's because 10 looks about a hundred times better than 7. One or the other.

10 was a great game, but I always found that system of the sphere grid really boring, and it just takes ages to get to the good stuff on there.

9 always seemed a little cartoony for me, which is weird since I loved Kingdom Hearts. But 7 just has everything once you get into it, around the ending of disc 1. Gold Saucer may be the most awesome place ever.

Gnarmageddon 11-16-2005 02:46 PM

I WOULD be downloading Warcraft 2 Battle.Net edition right now, but BitComet is being dumb and not connecting. :upset:

I think the reason I'm so attached to 10 is because it was the first game that I ever really spent that much time on. Spare maybe one of the Zeldas. But I agree about the sphere grid, that was pretty fruity. It just looked so darn good.

9 does seem a bit childish, I think because the main character looks like a little kid or something. Still a cool game though. And I know 7's gonna be good, everyone praises it for being such a great story, and Advent Children was a pretty sweet movie.

I guess I'll just wait and put it up on Sunday, so if you want to just hold on to it, that's fine.

Anyway, I'm off. Later guys.

7 gets a lot better after the first disc, which in turn still rules. I liked 10, but I never got into it as much. I don't know what it was, but I remember a level where you fall or something, and then Sin comes and you have to face him, and I really couldn't be bothered to do that.

I'm enjoying this way too much.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-16-2005 03:11 PM

Er, it's taking ages to load.

I may have found someone to go with me.

Kif 11-16-2005 03:17 PM

Well if it doesn't load, it's a game where you control Fusajiro Yamauchi with a Revolution controller, and you make him spank Bill Gates with a paddle. And it makes the Mario noise as well.

Speaking of videos overdubbed with retro video game sounds, check out some guy falling through a skylight dubbed with Mario noises.

Gnarmageddon 11-16-2005 03:17 PM

 Kif that's awesome.

So a few friends and I were trying to convince everyone in our school that Bill Cosby was coming in for a presentation. We made flyers and everything, and my friend made copies last night, but he forgot them today and he's *cough* coming tomorrow. :-/

Phayle.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-16-2005 03:18 PM

I'm off now, goodnight.

Kif 11-16-2005 03:19 PM

I made an avatar which slightly supports the Rev and slightly makes fun of "emo" people as well, which I'm not sure if I wanna upload. It means giving up the father who wasn't and celebrated appropriately.
