I always go to shows alone, I have no one to see the majority of the bands I like with.

Hopefully get to see Within the Ruins and The Contortionist next week, looking forward to that.

Yeah, these days if I have to spend more than a week living with them I get annoyed sometimes because they like to forget I've lived on my own for almost 2 years.

Also my hometown is dull as fuck.

If my friends were open, I would have no problem doing this as I love exposing people to new bands too, but sadly they aren't.

I have some friends who like coming over and listening to my music, a lot of them are actually into music on a similar level I am even if they aren't always metalheads.

It kinda bothers me when someone is like completely musically oblivious and has like no music taste to speak of, it's too important of a thing in life to essentially ignore.

Yeah but just because my friends don't have the same musical taste as me isn't the be-all-end-all to our relationship. Obv there's other factors of commonality as well.

But it would be nice to have people I could go to shows with. Would be less dangerous that's for sure.

I have a ton of friends who love the same music as me because of the organizations at UW and stuff for metalheads, also met lots of people in local bands and gotten a chance to go to shows for free and party with them and whatnot.

It's really easy to find someone to go to a show with, haven't been to one by myself since coming to UW.
