And yes, it is a valid reason. Wormed's riffs convey a much different feel than HM's. HM is fairly generic BDM riffs with slams. Wormed has those BDM type riffs but they are more focused on HEAVINESS and they also bring a lot of interesting dissonance into the picture (which I LOVE).

Also your logic is flawed, because I could use it to say it's unjustifiable for you to like one album by a band and dislike another by the same band.

Anyway listening to Souls to Deny by Suffocation, what do people think of that album? I seem to remember a lot of hate for it but I really dig it.

thought it was boring when it came out, havent' listened since. the s/t they put out after was better

I LOVE the production on Souls, it's thick n heavy, drums sound beast. The S/T is good but the production is really sterile and too thin for suffo imo

I haven't listened to either of those in a while but for some reason I remember liking the production more on the S/T over Souls, hmmmmmm
