Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-25-2005 08:57 AM

Mine has been broken for pretty much half the time i've had it. I got it fixed at the start of my exams so i feel many failures coming on. Not that i really care too mcuh....

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 09:04 AM

What exams are you taking?

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-25-2005 09:13 AM

A2s in french, geography and PE. you?

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 09:17 AM

A2 History, English, Media and Maths.

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-25-2005 09:25 AM

4 subjects!! That's pretty cool, must be hard work

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 09:26 AM

I should have dropped Maths.

albert_bass 05-25-2005 09:48 AM

Since when 4 subjects are too many?

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 09:58 AM

They are with A-Levels.

SpecialBoy 05-25-2005 09:59 AM

Since you do an extremely detailed and difficult course for each subject.

The average is to take 3 A Levels.

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 10:08 AM

OR 4 AS levels and then drop one.

albert_bass 05-25-2005 10:11 AM

Ok ok. I don't get it. Nevermind... You crazy british...

SpecialBoy 05-25-2005 11:10 AM

Media and PE are both bogus A Levels.

ie they're both crocks of shi't.

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 11:13 AM

Media is a load of shit. I should know.

albert_bass 05-25-2005 11:15 AM

Someone that's bored please explain me that weird system you have there please. What's this A level ****?

RetiredAt21 05-25-2005 11:15 AM

I dropped out of school, so I don't need to worry about finals. I kinda regret dropping out though.

You have 2 schools: Primary and Secondary. Primary from 5 to 11 and Secondary from 11 to 18. YOu take SATs at 7, 11 and 13. They don't mean anything. From 14-16 you take GCSEs, usually about 10, which include compulsory ones (English, Maths and Science) and several optional ones. After GCSEs you leave compulsory education but you can carry on doing A-Levels at a College or school. A-Levels are the courses designed to take you up to degree level and take 2 years. The first year (AS level) most people take 4 and then drop the one they like the least for the second year (A2 level).

shane italian 05-25-2005 11:22 AM

I'm still confused.

RetiredAt21 05-25-2005 11:22 AM

I'm so glad I don't go to school there. That is confusing as hell.

Jessizzle 05-25-2005 11:23 AM

I was tired, so i left school to go home and sleep yet i ended up on mx...

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 11:24 AM

No it's not.

GCSE: 14-16, compulsory, around 10 subjects
A-Level: 16-18, non-compulsory, 3-5 subjects

Ok, I got it. Thanks.

shane italian 05-25-2005 11:24 AM

I'm in Video Production right now. I need to come up with a pitch for my Vaq Original.

sketchyjoe 05-25-2005 11:26 AM

Charlies Angels meets Boston Beatdown with more full-frontal nudity.

RetiredAt21 05-25-2005 11:31 AM

Hahahaha, the CA/BB idea is awesome. I'd watch that.

shane italian 05-25-2005 11:42 AM

I'm ripping off this movie I saw in like 5th grade about some kid who plays a virtual reality game and it ends up being reality. It's crazy and filled with cheesy unecessary violence!

pikeled onion 05-25-2005 12:02 PM

sounds like Tron, but less lame and more unlame. hehe:)

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-25-2005 12:05 PM

i'd like to see you try and do some of this sh!t.

shane italian 05-25-2005 12:06 PM

So yeah, I pitched the movie idea and I got it ok'd. Now to create characters...

Jessizzle 05-25-2005 12:08 PM

1st option better, I hate that. My friend has a shirt of DK and he only likes California Uber Alles. And I can't have the shirt because he likes it. It sucks.
