I wanted one for a while, but it's not worth the money. My reasons:

One pickup
VERY limited tone...you take it or leave it
The body is disgusting...the pickguard ruins everything
4 string Rays look nicer
ONE PICKUP

I was chased away.

Someone on here was selling one a while ago, I know that. Check the classified section, ebay, or Musician's Friend or Music123 or something.

I hated the looks of them for so long, and swore to myself that I'd never own one. I admit that they are not the sexiest things on earth, and that there tone is very limited, but at the same time, if someone is looking for a variety of tones, they shouldn't be looking at a MM. But you do have to admit, there sound is super hot, and can't be immitated by any other bass. I've got my G&L, which is a tone monster, so I'm not worried about variety. I just want that sound. knowwhatimean?
