your infamous harp - escapes from the cage
glitch hop album just released online thru a paypal download thing. donated 1 cent on http://www.extlabs.com/thecage and got 320kbps mp3s. almost through listening to the album, its been really good. kind of disorienting at first, itll definitely grow as i become more familiar. crisp jungle/dnb'ish drums, smooth melodies, heavy basslines... dubstep influence in there, some womp.. and a female vocalist a little bit like bjork but sometimes glitched or modulated. |

Fo Sho. 'Atlas' kills. Bat for Lashes is pretty good. 'Daniel' has been stuck in my head for like, 3 days, so I guess that's saying something. |

Stand By For Action!
Local band who broke up a little while back, just made both their EPs available for download. It's stupid nuts-out screamy stuff like the worst bits of ATDI and SY, with all the guitars run through ring modulators. |

Missed their show last month (I think?). I'm jealous.

Does anyone else browse Sordo every day or two and download all the stuff they find intriguing, based on the genre descriptions and descriptions left by the uploaders? I'm usually disappointed, but stuff always sounds like it'd be good.

yeah but i usually check last.fm/myspace first just to make sure it's remotely listenable. so far the only band ive found to be really really awesome was fatal flying guilloteens, but i have hope that other good, unknown bands are there too |
it's not really. sordo delivers when people ask me to upload albums
