I was really in a mewithoutyou mood the other night and it cheered me up lots. They're awesome IMO :)

Ahh God I'm getting nervy about the potential gig now. I just found out that we're playing on a bill with 4 other bands and 3 acoustic acts. So it's gonna be a pretty big night. The only good thing is that the audience will be drunk students, which is a plus.

Zep - good (obviously as I'm listening to them)
Beatles - most over-rated band I've ever heard
Metallica - awesome
Hendrix - Not my cuppa tea, but I can appreciate his talent as a musician, and he has influenced so many rock guitarists in some way.

The Beatles are incredible. I don't see how you could not like them. They wrote some of the most amazing melodies/harmonies ever and filled every song they wrote with them. And then there's their influence on music...

I don't have anything against The Beatles. My dad loves them and I grew up listening to them. I know a lot of the lyrics for their songs just by listening so much. Now if they have a CD in, I'm listening to my own music.

I really don't like them. I can't stand to listen to their music.
